The article assumes you already have the source code. The article is also 5 years old, and there could be other problems with it.

Latest 64 bit linux 1.6 server archive is here: https://nightly.multitheftauto.com/?multitheftaut ... ble-latest Download and extract it, and there will be a net.so in there somewhere. Did you clone the source code from Github? Try running autoreconf -fi in that directory.

If you're building from the git master branch, then get the 1.6 Linux server binary archive from here: https://nightly.multitheftauto.com/ and extract the net.so Are you running autoreconf -fi in the correct directory?

I don't think it is anything to do with servers. More likely a interaction problem with another program, like firewall or antivirus. Try updating Kaspersky. If that doesn't help, try temporarily uninstalling Kaspersky and see if the BSODs stop.
-
Make sure no Cheat Engine components are running. (incl. things like Kernelmoduleunloader.exe) If you still have problems, restart your PC
-
Should work now

Thanks. Can you check if 1.4 still works without BSOD on your system? https://nightly.multitheftauto.com/mtasa-1.4.1-fu ... 150731.exe

To fix callRemote permission issue in 1.5: 1) Open server\mods\deathmatch\acl.xml in your favourite editor 2) Find the first occurrence of 3) Change false to true, so the line looks like this: <right name="function.callRemote" access="true"></right> 4) Save acl.xml And if we can fix the lighting system, you can then use 1.5 So please explain the exact problem with the lighting system.

Locally modified paintjobs might be working - needs testing. Locally modified ped skins should work if you set in the mtaserver.conf: <allow_gta3_img_mods>peds</allow_gta3_img_mods>
