lol,Soz Oli,i have over used you in this thread a bit lol. Your right though ,you'd never represent VCES,not because your crap,i'd love to have plenty of players with your skill. Its because your FMJ,we play against you,and i recruit players to fight alongside me. My members would leave if i used other clan players in matches,its one of the main reasons they join. I realise this isnt a massive problem,and i have singled out ULK and you Oli,purely because its the most recent example. The aim of this thread was to debate an issue,which would of been raised sooner or later. I recall a match VCES played when we first formed,i cant recall who it was against but DeathB was the Ref. We refused to play as the other team had over half Honorary players,and i had my first 'Aggressive chat' with Death lol. And as we are all playing on a regular basis now,i wanted to clear the issue before i went against ULK or whoever,and found myself facing any 'Honorary members'. Anyway Oli,2 things,when we playing next,and is it a European League Game?

There is no real problem,all i am getting at is,if ULK are really one of the best,why use other clan players? I know you played 8 ULK against us,and you won. It just looks like,when it looks like a toughie,you get a 'Honorary member' to bolster your ranks. Oli is leader of FMJ,he is a FMJ player,he can play for who he wants,and im not getting at Oli,he is purely an example. But playing for ULK in clan matches? Are you telling me ,you only get an Honorary member when you are short? Or is it only when you feel you need some help? Perhaps you didnt rate us as highly as KFC,cos the way it looks,you got Oli in to help beat KFC. If you had beaten KFC,then your victory wouldnt of reflected entirely upon ULK,after all,you needed an 'Honorary member' to do it. I only wanted to have a debate about this,VCES and KFC have stated their position on Honorary members,and requested they arent played against us. ULK have agreed not to use them against us,but im not telling you to do this with everyone you play. If other clans dont mind,then sure use whoever you want. Now here is a strange thing,Oli is Honorary VCES ,purely because of our friendship. We could ask him to play with us against you,and if he did,he would be playing with FMJ,ULK and VCES. And he would play against ULK and VCES at some stage,perhaps as an FMJ or an ULK/VCES. WTF is all that about? So a player plays with the new york jets,against the new york giants,the following week he plays for the new york giants against the washington redskins,and the following week he plays for his own team,the La raiders against the new york jets? Doesnt happen does it? If we have our clans and our teams,we should stick to them. Honorary - Held or given as a mark of honor, especially conferred as an honor without the usual adjuncts: an honorary degree. Honorary - Holding a title or place without rendering service or receiving reward; as, an honorary member of a society. Anyway,i see this thread finished with,some agree with me an kung,some dont,we will not tell you how to run your clan. We only ask that when you fight VCES/KFC ,you use ULK only members.

Zircon,the aim of this is to draw the guidelines. Seems to me there is a core of good size clans building up,and lots of healthy competition. There will be a 'Top' clan,and a pecking order will eventually be settled. The way i see it,KFC and ULK pretty much rule the roost between the two of you. Were hoping to rock the boat a little ,but as it stand now,you Two top the lot. But i cant say that ULK come out on top,if they use other clan players to represent them. If anyone wants to proclaim there Superiority , then i believe they have to show it in strength. Stronger in skills,and a stronger team. You muddy the waters when you bring other clans into your team,it dilutes your claim,you may win a game,but ULK didnt. ULK/FMJ/whoever won the match. Im just saying,if you really want to say your the best,then prove it by having a 100% ULK team. As for Utopia,hes 100% KFC,though obviously you have other issues there. Im not telling you how to choose your team,but its how it looks

We at VCES also take that stance,would any other Clan care to agree to this?

i can understand why some people would need someone to fill the gaps,i was just suprised really clans like ULK,FMJ and a few others had spots to fill. ULK 46 They must be able to field 8 players at one time,especially if the match is planned in advance. I mean,for example,and with no offence to the person mentioned. PointBlank,hes a good player,and i like him too,but ive played against him at least 3 times,with him in different tags. With ULK, KFC and his own former clan NS. Ok the former clan one is different,but he was in NS when he played for ULK and KFC. Both these clans have enough strength in depth to field a team of Pure Members,for want of a better word. Using an Honorary member or two in a match,instead of you own,is saying your clan hasnt got enough skilled players to do the job alone. If your a small clan,and you havent got enough people,then fair enough. But i was very suprised to see Oli in the ULK / KFC match,after all the build up i expected to see all the ULK big Guns Keep playing this game the way it suits you,im not preaching to you,just wanted to ask a serious question on this board for once.

Well the way we work it is,we recruit enough players to at least field a team of 8 at one time. We arrange our Matches at a time when we know our team is on. Weve played over 12 matches,and have never needed to 'Bring' anyone in. I would of thought at least most of the clans with a thread in this forum could do the same. Tonight Death played with FMJ against KFC,ive got no problem with that if thats how they want to do it. I just thought FMJ could provide their own 8 best players,they have enough. How about the poor members who join a clan to play in matches,and other clan players get in ahead of them. Its like a professional Football team,they dont pick the best from other teams,when they've got a match on. Anyway im not going to tell anyone what to do here,i just wondered how the majority felt about it. VCES though insist on playing opposing clan teams without honorary members.

I have a question regarding 'Honorary Members',and what it actually means. I have seen many Full time Members of one clan,being 'Honorary Members' in another clan. That in itself i have no problem with,its like stating your friendship,or declaring that you are Allies. But from time to time,i see Clans playing matches with 'Honorary' members fighting alongside them. This i find a little wierd. For example,i noticed [FMJ]Oli played in the ULK team against KFC. No disrespect,i understand why people would want an Oli on their team. But in my eyes,it is no longer an ULK team. ULK is whoever belongs to ULK,and surely ULK has 8 high quality players. If i play ULK,i'd expect to face ULK,same goes for any clan we fight. I feel bringing other Clan members in for a match is unfair. Where does it end? We could end up playing the same 'Top' Players every week Im not digging at Honorary members,its a harmless thing,but i believe you should pick your clan,and represent them only. I wont allow VCES members to play for other clans,they play for VCES. Why bother trying to recruit and build a good team,if i just use others for matches Im not starting anything here, ULK is purely an example as its recent. With these clan matches,the water is muddy enough already,without bringing in 'Honorary' members into it. Its up to each clan of course,but the above is mine and the VCES Opinion,and thats how we intend to play other clans. Is this a popular view? Hows about some debate here

'Bases' in matches have to be accessible by foot , first and foremost. If you choose to go in by other means,fair enough. We at VCES have our official 'Home Base' at Cortez's Boat. It is wonderful from a defensive point of view. But we will never use it in a match,nor will we even try and attack an opposing clan if the Base cannot be reached by foot. Were pitting clans against eachother,people need to fight You cant achieve this by sitting in the middle of the sea I mean WTF,do i have to Recruit Moses

What worries me is the womens clothing MoTnT is wearing Suspenders and Kinky Boots,can i join =UT= ?

Although i dont know him,I Wish him the Best 'In Country' means basically Active Duty/Combat Zone,well for UK forces it does,i presume the same for the States. Hopefully he can get out of there for a while now

Right Ok. All in all i thought the event itself was a shambles,and as soon as only 13 'Duos' showed up,we guessed it was going to be awkward But despite that, 13 Duos did compete ,albeit with some former pairs having to mix,due to no shows. Eventually 3 'Duos' remained after playing through 3 Stages. As it was uneven,the remaining 3 pairs decided to play a '2v2v2 Round,Last man standing'. The 3 pairs were =UT=RocketGuns+VCES>Bailey,VCES>Div+[FMJ]Gordon,VCES>RonSeal+VCES>Brophy. At the end of the final Round VCES>RonSeal+VCES>Brophy remained standing. The event is to be replayed over a 2 week period every month. The Duos already entered will play the matches as shown on the Chart,at a time suitable to them. When only 2 Duos remain,the final will be played. Restricting it to one night,results in the problems we faced on saturday. Matches are already taking place,please see the earlier post to see who you face,and arrange a time for it to take place. Or just visit VCES.NET to see the table,and arrange your match. Thanks to the 30 odd players who did show up,and i filmed some great matches,which will be posted on the VCES site soon.

3 more Duos are needed to have a full line up of 16 The event has been carefully planned out,so it should run like clockwork. All participants are asked to behave themselves whilst waiting in between Stages. They are of course free to leave the servers in between Stages,but you must ensure you remain in contact with the event organisers if you do leave. We will not chase you around,and if you are not in the server when the Stage begins,the Duo will lose by default. If by saturday there are an unequal amount of entered Duos,then my Duo will not particiapte and will solely run the event. 'No Shows' will not be considered for further events. The surviving / winning Duo will be taken by helicopter to the nearest health,while the losing Duo Respawn. Hi all As the Topic name implies,we are holding a 2 v 2 Tournament,which will be held on a monthly basis The tournament is played in one evening,and held on 2 Servers to speed up the Knockout Rounds The full explanation can be found HERE The Rules can be found HERE And you can enter your Duo HERE The Competition is to be held on the 1st of May,starting at 20:00 HRS GMT (UK Time). The eventual winners would of played 3 Knockout Stages consisting of 3 rounds per stage,and then the final. This will probably take at least 2 hours so any players who wish to enter should ensure they have the time,especially if they think they can reach the Final Please do not apply in this thread,it is purely to advertise the Event. Good Luck to those who Enter,there are already some great pairings entered and im expecting some tough Stages ahead. May i also add that the whole Tournament is to be filmed,to ensure fair play and to produce a 'Highlights' Video,which will be hosted on the VCES site.
