  3. Are you going to give us a warning like the race mode or is it gonna be a spur-of-the-moment thing? I don't wanna miss this release by going somewhere. Also, are any open beta parties planned before release?
  4. Well since like 90% of the people on this forum know nothing about C++, maybe just adding more seats in the big big planes by default would be a good idea?
  5. So as everyone knows, only 4 people can sit in any vehicle at max, and the large planes only hold 1 person anyway. Since MTA does edit the main.scm (I think) do you think it would be possible to raise the number of seats on some certain cars, the big planes, and the bus?

Not at the moment, that may change. so wouldn't get that a bit too powerfull? you can't get hit while inside a car, but you can shoot while being driver... like your own shield, and when the car is about to blow up, you run away or just get a new one.so 1 in combination with 3 will get a little to powerfull and maybe it will be good do enable/disable driver gunner serverside since it allso wasn't done like this in single player. Your kidding right? If normal drive-bys are enabled, (meaning just left and right aiming for the driver) that would be the most overpowered thing in the game. The smg's rate of fire multiplies by like 10 when firing with the normal drive-by mode, but not with aiming drive-by mode. That's why it's good that the driver can aim. If you think the aiming (cheat) would be bad... As for the drive-byers having a 'shield', well cars don't take much to kill, and if the car has 3 or 4 people in it, then it's 3 or 4 against 1 anyway, so your just gonna have to run. And if the in-car damage is added later, then it'll be even better. Besides, we haven't actually tried it ourselves yet. It might be completely different than we think. Just wait and see.

  11. I actually think the damaging thing was one of my questions. I specifically remember ~7 or 8 while I was thinking about it.

If not, will it be added later? 3) Can you (or passengers) be shot whilst inside the car? 4) Are cars fully synced when no one is in them? (I.E. I physically walk into a car to push it off a cliff, will everyone see it move the same?) 5) (If 1 or 2) Can drive-bys be done with weapons other than SMG's? If not, will it be added later? 6) (If 1 or 2) Is the sync for firing at someone any different than what we've seen on foot? I know I forgot a question or two, but if it comes back to me I'll edit my post.
  13. Oh. Well it's probably not to big a deal. They're just frozen when the maps start. What do you want them unfrozen for anyway?

  15. You can't run back every time dude. You just can't. If you do, it'll turn into a game of running laps and the person with the run-and-gun weapon will win that game. As for both weapons firing off 2 shots, the tec9s or mac10s will fire off at least 5 or 6 by the time the m4 can fire 2 so therefore they have a much higher chance of killing someone with it. Either way, we may as well wait till it's released before taking this any further.
  16. You can hit someone with an awp. You can't hit someone who's running unless the sync is really good. It doesn't take any time at all to stop firing and sprinting. It doesn't take much skill to prevent someone from getting away. And if you want me to prove that, I will definately remember this post and show you when mta is released. And as for being able to do it with a rifle, like I said previously, tec9s and mac10s have higher rate of fire, and all you need is 2 bullets to kill someone with it so yeah gg to that. True. I probably should have waited so I could prove what I'm saying.

  18. If you'r smart you'll change your weapons to a gun and sprint away or try to kill him. If you'r a good player you won't get killed that easy. When DM comes out we'll see if it's a problem. [edit] BTW can't MTA block the loading of weapons.dat and tell GTA to use one that's made for MTA? This way weapon stats on hitman lvl can be changed. I don't even see what the point of debating with you is if you don't even understand what I'm saying. Obviously you can change to a weapon and sprint, but what stops them from sprinting and chasing you? You both sprint the same speed, therefore you will not get away. It's pointless. And for god's sake take some grammar classes.
  19. Yeah, I did notice in the video that you can actually park on top of the enemy. That seems a bit retarded. Didn't seem like it happened too often though. That's what GTA is all about. I must've missed that part of the game. Let's remove all the guns while we're at it.
  20. No. You can't. That's the whole problem. You walk with every weapon but the tec9s, mac10s, and sawd-offs. That's what makes them overpowered. But if the sync is as good as those videos show, then maybe other guns will have a chance.

  23. So mac10 and weapons like that will allways be dual? Mac10, tec9, sawd-off, and colt 45's with hitman status will always be dual. And it does make them too powerful. But if you were to bog down the status on smg's, it would make the mp5 shit as well.
