hmm, i think mta has already done it check out the stats of their test game http://downloads.mtavc.com/stats.php. the page is a php page, that means they could have manually entered the info to a database or they could have had the game server generate that data. However when there is a tournament being offered somewhere, the admin could just take a screen of the scoreboard and enter the info manually into a MySQL database or something. Anyway can't wait til 0.2!! crazy features!

I agree, I think if we exchange ideas and help we can make great progress towards organized tournaments and ladders, PHP with a database is my specialty, ladders and tournament management are definitely not.

Due to the success of the multiplayer mod of MTA, it has brought about the formation of gangs, so as a result, GTA: FX has put together a network site, Gangs of GTA, a web based gang manager where you can create your gang for gta2, 3, or vc, recruit members, and fight other gangs. There is more stuff being added everyday like, personalized gang news, traitor lists for when people ditch their gang and PM capabilities right on the site. So far this is the only one out there and the site is being created by a one man team, so if you are interested in being part of a newly developing web team and know PHP and MySQL, email me, [email protected].
