Well , you just answered your own question lol . My pc makes vc actually seem faster than the ps2 (no long loading and stuff) And also on the pc , you can control "better" and moddifie the game

according to Real life mods "http://www.3dap.com/gta/" There is a rumor going around from forum to forum that San Andreas will not make it to the pc . I hope this is false .... Well and again , they sayid the same thing for ViceCity . And look at it now .Its on the PC , PS2 And Xbox

yeah , all you can basicly do is update the videocard drivers. i use a 256mb card . and sometimes the textures gets fuxy . but after like 1-3 seconds it loads completely . Make sure you use atleast a 64mb card . and also buy the newer version of these 64mb card (or better mb) cause if you buy like a radeon 100 with 64mb . it will not work just cause of the 64mb . make sure the card supports directx 8.1 and up

we'll heres the reallyty ... cheaters cant be stopped . as you can see , all games have cheaters or "hackers" im not in the cheaters "side" but i understand that the mta team is trying really hard to stop cheating . and i know that there will never be a way to stop it completely . So there work is to "remove" 98% of all cheaters ... as you can see , compare 0.1 cheating with the new versions now ... Cheaters is just like robbers in real life , police cant stop them all . but they do try to and stop most of them .... So i know mta has lots of cheaters and stuff . but all we can do is play mta with the cheaters (for now) and later they will make a much more improved version that will disable most of the cheating ...

then if your using the 1.0 . update to 1.1 and use the patch 1.1

yeah , some thing happened to me . everytime i pressed gta-vc.exe vc dint work . ic lciked and clicked and nothing worked . so i updated to the new version . and still dint work . And then unfortunately , the only way i made it work was to use a no-cd patch . This happened about 2 months ago . i rebooted my windows and it works fine now ... So i dont know if you want , but if you HAVE to play mta NOW try a patch , i know its not "legal" on the mta forum . but it was the only i could find to fix this problem ...

yes , you can backup the copyof vc to mod it with out affecting mta . all you have to do is . Right click on the folder were the vc that is beeing used to play mta is and then select "copy" . Next on the "rockstar games" folder . right click anyware (on blank space on folder) and select "paste" it will take a couple of minutes to copy the file . but when its done it will appear a "copy of Grand Theft Auto Vice City" folder , then all you have to do is rename if you want . and mod . And remmember . DO NOT use mta with the modded one , or it wont work . Also , you can do more than just 1 copy . I for instance have 7 vicecity's installed . One is for MTA , other is for the ucfmod . One is for tricked-out cars and so on ... i know it costs alot of gb . but its worth having everything organized .

WOW , Thanx eAi . Works PERFECTLY for me . Altho i have seem some crashes . when i go over the shotgun . the program crashes . but i tried it with 1.0 instead of 1.1 and it seems its working alright . Thanx again , now i can kill more

Its not difficult to use the scrollwheel . but as trx sayid . its takes much more time just to try to stop at the weapon you want . And iu could be using that time to be killing newbies

OK . The speed problem . This is the first time i have ever heard of a pc go into hyperspeed ... And i think that the diying over water thing is because he has a very high ping . and when he goes close to the water , the "signal" that his computer sends to yours telling were the heli is . is slow . so there's time for the heli to fall on the water and blow up . Kinda of what happened to me an IJS yesturday in a helicopter
