id suggest partitioning ur hdd, put linux on 1 partition and winxp on the other and then select the os to boot on startup

ok, my opinions on this are very specific and very direct. Stubby: jumping is fine, its not hard to avoid and everyone does it. Crouching i frown upon, but will overlook if its just once or twice. pistol glitching i have a serious problem with cos it actually shoots more shots than u have, this i have problems with. Molotovs/grenades: Glitching is glitching with these. A lot of ppl dont actually know what glitching with these is, they just accuse. I have a good way of telling and im very firmly against this type of glitching. If i see it in a match im adminning ill be strict on this. Ammo glitching: This pisses me off, just the other day when we faught DNA, after a no glitch rule was agreed, 1 guy stood on a roof near wash mall and ammo glitched his m60 so he never ran out of ammo for it, this is totally unaccpetable as far as im concerened, but hard to detect. Crashes: as far as im conecerned if u cash in combat ure dead if u didnt crash in combat ure not. Crashing in combat is when someone is shooting u or ure shooting someone. Pickups: Either disallow these or put a time limit, cos im tired of stupid ppl (dan) who go around picking up every weapon on the damn map for every round. Flamer: Dont personally have a problem with it but i know a lot of ppl who do, so ill leave this in the hands of the other admins. heli killing: i dont have huge probs with this, but id prefer not to see it as its a dodgy area, ill leave this up other admins. Car killing: i hate this but ill allow it if its allowed in the rules. i personally think its even more lame than heli killing, but thats my own problem, so ill leave it out of this. thats about all my stuff to say on the subject, but i could have forgotten something cos im totally knackered.

I just remembered an annoying thing in the current mta version(s), u cant change ure display resolution when using mta, for both vc and gta3. Is this bug gonna be fixed in blue, cos it is quite irritating having to change it in sp evcerytime i wanna record something, taking the res down cheers

lol, if the server crashes, doesnt make ure game crash, just times everyone out... u can still run around shooting still ppl

well, i found when running the euleague that the website was just an easy way of organising things and was an easy way for ppl to find out information quickly and easily. Once its established then it would be a good idea, but it isnt the most important thing atm. Also i have a good script that can run matches for us aswell if u want to use such a system edit: perhaps 1 admin per clan should be considered? i think too many admins will make for a few problems

ok, this should be good I will help out as much as i can with this league, can offer some servers for matches and i have plenty of experience adminning matches from the euleague. I am undecided what to do about the euleague at present. It is somewhat dead atm, and i dont really have the time to run it esp when ppl dont seem interested, so i might close it down and transfer all the active clans to this league. I will keep u posted about this.

this is a common problem with networks, ASE is searching for INTERNET ip's for servers, not INTRANET ip's, hence u wont be able to see ure own server when its on a network. Other ppl will be able to see it i would think, but id check that out. If its not that then soz for the useless post

i think it was a phone in job, someone phoned in a request and said where they heard the song, and i guess the person plays mta or something... that would be my guess

heh i was browsing radio stations the other day, was on bbc radio 2 at the time for some reason, and they started playing a song from vc, cant remember which, but 1 off the car radios.. and the dj said "here is a song from the 80's which is used in the PC game MTA" not GTA, i couldnt believe my ears lol

im going to presume this addons system will have an inbuilt compiler, so i doubt any external program will be necessary, all u need to know is some basic c++, but im hoping ppl who have existing knowledge of the language will have an advantage
