Hmm, I wonder if I can issue a background check on myself just for fun.. I'm tempted to see how efficient this is.

Any car related resource is a good resource, looking great. Shame that not all the mods available match the same amount of quality that the engine sound and vehicle used in the video have.

map was made public but worked only with mta server LOTRS. because we do not want the appearance of clones server) Thx Totally acceptable, you want to keep your work unique and untouched, I understand your reasoning perfectly. However, if you allow me to provide my opinion on the whole server subject, its kind of a shame that such an ambitious project is automatically alienating the average MTA player from connecting to your server from the start by demanding them to install a custom executable file. It doesn't seem like a very reasonable thing to do, I mean, it's acceptable if you are making this a friends-only thing, although, if that was the case, it wouldn't really make much sense to advertise the project publicly in the first place, but for a public server it doesn't seem feasible to require this kind of thing. Anyway, regarding to the modding side of this, I feel compelled to give my personal views on it. One of the most frequent issues I tend to notice with all sorts of projects is the fact that once they flop or get forgotten for some reason, all of the work and progress made completely evaporates from the Internet. Most of the times this happens because creators are over-protective and refuse to redistribute their work. I would really be disappointed to see that happen to this as well. So as a long time modder and also a blog-follower of the people who are taking part in this project, I'll appeal, to you for a possible 'future' map release once you feel like the time is right.

Would've been pretty cool if the map was made public, like most map modifications, instead of being tied to a drift game mode server. As big car fanatic I can't help but to congratulate your work and wish you the best of luck with your project.

Posting what I posted on the 'Awesomium' thread. MTA will benefit A LOT from this feature.

I absolutely LOVE this.

Boredom caught up to me so I decided to make some minor aesthetic changes to the original MTA menu screen. MTA Screen Theme A very simple background that also functions as a logo, compiled with footage from my MTA server. SkyHigh Theme Replaced the original background screen grid with a panoramic image of the San Andreas map, and also applied the smaller version of the MTA logo for a less cluttered screen. IA Theme Aimed for the fanatics of Vocaloid, anime and JRPG's, or simply, Japanese players. What's an IA? Credits: I'd like to credit and thank forum user WolfPire for his assistance on spell-checking the theme menu! [/divbox] Sorry for the small images but apparently the MTA forums didn't apreciate the original resolution. There are however full resolution preview pictures inside each theme's .zip folder. How to install: Drag and drop the files inside the 'files' zip folder into: MTA San Andreas\MTA\cgui\images Feel free to mix themes if you like. [divbox=black]

I absolutely love this. Hopefully in the future it will evolve into something that allows actual videos to be streamed in game for all clients. Nice work, keep at it.

May I ask you where on the script did you saw that? (file name) And I still would like to have a few guidelines on how to set up the resources on a host. I don't know any tuturials and the MTA wiki isn't clear enough for me.
-
Not the resources, the vehicles lol, the first time i ran the server,I had like 9 people on and it escalated to the point where the airports had no aircraft, of course there's always the Freeroam GUI but some of my friends prefer not to use it as it kind of kills the fun, not to mention players who are downloading the resources can't acess the GUI, so this really bugs me out. Regarding the hosting suggestion you directed me to, thanks, I might give it a go. - Another question regarding the resource upload... Are there any rules I need to follow to make it work or is it as simple as creating a folder/RAR of the server resources and uploading it?
-
1. Vehicle Respawning So, currently I'm experiencing an issue with vehicle respawn on my server, I'm running a .map file with all the vehicles in it, along with a modified freeroam resource and play resource... when these vehicles explode they don't return back to their original state on their original position... I personally think its an issue regarding to running 'play' on the server start up, but I only do so that my friends can play on the server while they download the required resources, instead of being stuck with a black screen and a download bar while they wait for the download to come to an end, so I wonder... is there any simple work around this? 2. Resource Files Hosting Is it possible to host the server resource files on a file hosting service instead of my own computer? If so, what file hosting services do you recommend? Thank you in advance.

So yeah, I have mapped for SA-MP for quite a while but now that I'm making a MTA server I'd like to ask... How does the object limit work with MTA ? Is there any? What happens if you exceed the limit? I have tried the MTA wiki but I couldn't find it anywhere, I'd like someone to explain to me if there's a limit and how does it work. Thanks in advance.

Thank you very much for your help ElMota

I have 2 questions regarding to GTA radio stations and internet radio stations. 1 - Is it possible to disable vehicle radio stations on MTA? Is there a function for it? (Server sided) 2 - Is it possible to steam live radio stations (real) using a function into the MTA server? Thanks in advance.

I understand, the same happens on SA-MP Forums, they don't help MTA players there either, childish rivalry in my opinion, from both. I have to agree though, MTA is much more mapper friendly than SA-MP is. I've recently gave up on SA-MP and decided to move to MTA for that reason... and server side mods

So wrong forum! Do you have any idea of how retarded that statement is? I know of a few users who do the same thing, they map for SA-MP and post their work on MTA forums, and vice versa. People are free to share their work with whoever they want, wherever they want. As far as I know there's no rules against that. And this statement represents pure ignorance. There are more mappers on SA-MP than on MTA (SA-MP has a larger comunity), hence why most of the maps you see there are shitty 60 object maps with no creativity what so ever. But that doesn't necessarily mean people can't tell something with quality than something that lacks of quality just because they can't make it themselves.

That is a very awesome map indeed, I really like it
