im running a P4 1800 with flash intel mobo, 256mb RD ram and a shitty 64mb GF2 MX400. The graphics card is the only thing that needs replacing really, never measured the Frame rates. but it runs real slow unless i put it on the minimal settings. Also got 3rd party on-board sound (does everything quite well, and beats an SB value card =), intellimouse explorer, 56k modem (slllloooowwwwwww), and a whole lot of random cables which don't fit anywhere =) j/k Anyone with a 128mb GF4 they wanna give to me? =)

A. the answer is, that you edit your posts and delete them. There is a checkbox near the bottom which says, delete post, and the mods can delete individual posts anyway bill =P Q. who is ever going to bother to go to those lengths? - besides the mods which end up deleting them? =)

Got a temp job at Fed Ex =) Ill be around on weekends, and at nights, but probably not doing as much, and leaving the forum modding to bill, and hopefully the other programmers, as it seems only blocker and vogel are active on the forums =)

It seems i finally have a job, if only a temporary one, but it seems that my forum activity will slow to the average user. Im sure you will miss my activity as forum posts drop 15-20% =) Ill still be keeping up with major posts, and i will play 0.3a most nights (keep a slot open for me on the programmer's private servers guys =) So im sure big J, Bill and any other would-be spammers can now beat my current target, and no longer will the forums be run by my iron fist, or more iron key that was put into so many padlocks =) ( Thread Closed) Its not a goodbye, but a, i won't come in every week seeing as i will have a life now =) xerox

I agree, 2 heads are better than one. Im very impressed that one guy has been able to do so much work. MTA still looks to be the better mod in some respects as GGM seems to be unorganised chaos so far. You can see other people driving quite well, and they have text chatting, but nothing seems to be organised.

id like to take credit - but you might want to direct that question at blocker or vogel, i just help run the forum, i have nothing to do with the MOD. We have always known that multiple people could be in one car, its just a matter of coding it (it was debated a lot in the old forums)

hmm - just when we thought we were onto something original =) Must try this and see how things go. I still feel that our version will be better due to more input from gta3 players, and i would say that this mod will probably be more stable. Don't give up cause these guys are doing the same thing, beat them instead =)

it saves the replays in the GTA3 user files (same place as your save game). You can save the replays by copying them to another directory, as gta3 just overwrites them as soon as you press F2 again.

A. Microsoft make different games to EA usually. They co-exist quite happily. Activision are also known for their borg assimilation of companies. These 3 could quite easily take over the whole market. Groups like blizzard and R* may get taken over one day (lets never hope it happens) Q. Does the above make sense?

either way would work, but it depends on numbers. Having 4 groups makes things more difficult, So if you take one groups area and hold it for X min that whole team is out?

hmm - its getting closer to being a great game mode Still not sure about someone else being able to pick up the object and become the VIP, but the basic rules seem to be there!

probably said this before, but i cant see how this would work considering liberty city is only so big! MMORPG's need to always be expanding, GTA3 isnt really the game for it, a whole new game is needed for this to work!

rumor (from talking with various people on IRC) has it that future versions may have skins to choose from in the MOD. So that basic colour skins can be used to distinguish teams.

the idea makes sense, its just that the programmers were going to code all this multiple players in one car stuff, maybe it was already in the code? =)

if they are your team mates they will have big bounding arrows, be on the map and be in your groups colour, if they are the opposition they will be in a weird coloured car =)

That syncing method seems a little complicated =) OK - you cant FF, REW pause etc in replays on the PC. R* went half-ass and rushed this part of the game =( You can control the angle with the mouse, and save by pressing F2, then view the save over and over by pressing F3 - but thats it =(
