You can never actually see a big black box saying LOADING in the original game, afaik, it only says that when the player does something abnormal, but not too abnormal that the game would crash. That is, going outside the limits of the engine OR being stuck in a totally solid wall. Going outside of the engine can be easily experienced by using "/sp x x 99999999999999999999999" in any freeroam server that has the command enabled. The player has left the world limits. Being totaly stuck in a solid wall, is for example: a box that isn't just empty inside it, but fully filled. Think of it as a big slab of concrete that are normally put in between apartments horizontally (i.e in between floors). When you get stuck right in between that big slab, the game just does what you did. It try's to load the world, but fails, so the graphics stay the same until it loads, but since it's always moving (chat, console, ESC) you get a yellowish orangey blur. That is called a LSOD. -- Try not to jump out near a wall, if you are a scripter, then you could try to use processLineOfSight and some other functions.

I thought it was a really good map, you obviously have no idea that you don't just need stunts and roads for a good map, but you all need creativity, which this map shows. Could you explain a little why you disliked the map? -- EDIT: now i read the full topic... still - because it was too easy it doesn't mean it's not good. Just looking at the illusions and the deco makes a person feel good... inside themselves.

You won't get root access to the physical server. You can however upload files to the directory of your server, but due to security reasons (people buying a 2 slot server and then upload a program which deletes all server files) you can't upload .so files. Also, most of the time there aren't any nightly builds released for the Linux platform, which we use to host. As soon as an update comes to linux.multitheftauto.com we will upload it as soon as possible and give our clients the choice to update on their own. Some screenshots (I know they are too big for the forum, try watching them by clicking "View image"): The control panel looks great! So we can't upload any modules? :< or run a modified server? oh okay, anyway okay I will try it out sometime.

This is a really useless tool, if anyone wanted to download MTA:SA, they would go to https://mtasa.com and press the big DOWNLOAD button. If you were going to list 1.0 then atleast list 1.0.5 and so on.. jeez even list MTA:VC and MTA DM... what about Mta:race.. I appreciate your efforts, but personally I feel it's useless...
