It's probably because you have tried to modify any of the files. If you haven't then it could be a problem with your firewall, some programs set things to strict or moderate so you may want to check out both. If all else fails try a clean reinstall.

You can't minimize MTA, and you never will. As for the topic, I believe theres http for download servers and thats what you saw. You know like players download resources from the server. I don't know maybe entering in a stream (radio) URL will work if you put it in...

lol, if MTA can code a great mod like this... I'm SURE the anti cheat will be a piece of cake for them.

There's been quite a few just as there has been players on my server lately... and troy was on the IRC being a dumb nut yesterday. ... But we should'nt worry about hackers just yet, if they want to waste their time trying to hack, it's no fun....

The final release won't be until a while as there will still be many other version I believe before it so don't go too far in the game now. However those are some good suggestions. For the custom Audio one there already is but I was thinking more of an http URL you can stream to your server for a custom radio or something, that would own!

1. Make sure your ports are forwarded properly. The ones in your server config. 2. Make sure when you connect, you enter the right IP and Port...... All I can think of.....

UPDATE! Got it working now... or whatever was set to 1, had to be nothing... now everythings great!

Okay so I have these ports forwarded... 22004, 22005, 12127... Well when I and anyone else joins the server, it will say "Downloading Resources" or w/e... Then about after 5 seconds or so this comes up... It happens on ANY game mode so it has to be something wrong with the download server or I'm not connecting it right. Anyone know whats wrong? I have been trying to fix this for ages now.... it's getting really annoying.

^^ Yeah! No complaining is necessary lol... Well I talked to Talidan and he said these error codes are nothing, they are a problem connecting with mtabeta.com. However they shouldn't cause anything to go wrong. So were all good, nothing bad on our part at least!

Did you sign up an account at http://www.mtabeta.com? If not register then it will work.

What OS are you running? If it's Vista that's why, you will have to go on IRC for help as loads of people have been having problems running MTA on Vista.

I just want to fix up a few things which I can't... the server runs fine, but I get things like this in the log that I need to configure.... 1. Every time a player connects, this line is added... 2. When the server is started this also comes up... 3. And one more warning when server is started, this appears in between where all of the resources are being started... All support is greatly appreciated! I tried getting help on the IRC but no one that's active on there knows anything about the servers. Also I just wanted to clarify if this is normal. At the end of the startup it says... Well I have that port forwarded both TCP and UDP but it shows up so is that good or bad?

First: how did u know which is my server? ^^ Second: Yes, when u connect to official server, you get the files. He meant MY server which is the main post. Anyways I will try forwarding the http port. Tell you what happens. Also @ Assassinator it worked for you because you did download the files from the main server. I don't know why you ask... It's all over the IRC and was mentioned during the development that there wasn't going to be gamepad support until everything else is done. As of now your answer is no. Good luck cracking...

Well, the server runs fine and everything... but I have 3 friends trying to access it and they get these two DOWNLOAD errors codes... #0-28 #0-6 Two of them got the 28 one, and one of them the 6... and they are both download errors. I am like extremely concerned on what could be the problem. I only tried the game mode CTV-LS... If anyone else wants to see whats wrong please do so! Ahhh... after long exhausting numerous months of waiting for MTA, I'm bloody glad it's out. I would like to thank the whole team for giving us a great mod!
