I forced 1.0.4 and 1.0.5 for our players as fast as those came out and didn't notice any decrease in playercount thanks to auto-updater. -

For some reason, you have failed to fix it for at least 2 months as the lag has been there for (at least) that time being and has even got worse in time. I was left the impression that he was just a sponsored guy because they didn't use GTA-multi when Mini Missions was started and after some months they suddenly started using GTA-Multi's services and advertised it. Don't really get why he didn't use his best friend's services from the beginning, but I don't really bother to care either. -

We have 3 dedicated servers. Two of them are for game servers and one is for web sites, web host. Old sites that were bought before we got the web server are still on the main dedicated server, which is still less than 80% full. RAM/CPU usage is always under 70%. Well we didn't do this. That is some kind of lie wich was made up by Rui, the owner of MM. He stole 1200$ from one of Gta-multi's projects. After we have found out about that, we have investigated further and noticed it really was him. Because of that he was kicked out and his server was suspended. Note that we did NOT compromise any of passwords from users of MM. How would a guy you sponsor with a server have access to your funds? Seems much like a counter-attack which is based on lies. Judging by the lag in the servers hosted by you, I strongly disagree with your justifications. RAM and CPU isn't everything. Network/connection is also an aspect and when you host 100 servers on a root hosted by a budget dedicated server host, it's called overselling. The network just cannot cope well with everything and thus the servers lag. Btw, OVH's lowend dedis don't even have fully dedicated uplinks iirc. -
I bet you're doing it for race, so use ScreenFadedIn and FadeOut (consult wiki for those) (race-) events to detect whether a map is loading or not. When screen is faded in, a map has been fully loaded. Using Nextreme's suggestion with 1000+ objects map is just not reasonable.

Good work Dude ! For the intro script , you use a tool or you make it by hands ? Well one of my script suggestion is to make a media tracker like in TM : but less complicated in TM it is a complicated tool that replace the scripts in MTA, you can add text , pictures , camera path before, after and during the map. + more I see a resource named stage , but I never see somebody that use it in a map to make camera effect during the map. I know you good in lua script, me no, it is just a suggestion. Well, I think im in the wrong place !!! The intro script idea indeed came from TrackMania (played it a lot before). I made my own intro-recording script and playback. Just need to include a intro.rec file in meta.xml and the intro will be automatically loaded by tha playback script. The recording script is rather basic at the moment. You have to manually go through the map with WSAD and Mouse + E & Q to rotate the camera as you may have seen I used in some corners. Didn't know how the TM system worked cause I haven't created any TrackMania maps, but I might improve my recording script in the near future.

Out of curiosity - what measures are taken to stop/slow down uploading stolen/ripped off resources? Do you ban IPs or anything? -
Actually, I've been told that this map is pretty predictable. You can ultimately see everything during jumps. In additions, this map has an intro-script in the beginning of the map, so you can see where you have to go.

If you have SSH access to your server, you could do it with php SDK. If not, then there is no better option at this moment.

vEnom made a roulette script for our server, it has some minor bugs, but those shouldn't be too hard to fix. I can ask him for you, maybe he's willing to sell you a copy.

This part: times = times + 1 if (times == 1) then end Is totally pointless and unnecessary, think a bit how it can be anything less than 1. Besides, "Running" state is set only once(when cars get unfrozen) while this resource is running.

There are some issues yes, which have cause FPS drops, but in no way is MTA dying or has died because of that. ccw808 fixed the 1.0.5 FPS bugs rather shortly and everything is back to the way it was on 1.0.4. But I gotta admit that I miss the times (1.0.2) while I could play with max FPS regardless of player count. Now I can only get the normal, maxxed out FPS while there are only very few players next to me. In Race map starts it's really annoying to get 20-30 FPS instead of normal 45 on my server. And I'm not tired of saying it, that it has probably got something to do with asynchronous loading and developers should take some time and look into it, because before this addition, there were little to none FPS related issues. Since then, the major FPS issues begun. And no, playing with the settings doesn't help, the lag persists when there are more than 6 cars around me. For some, playing with the settings got rid of stalling (1-2 second stalls while driving with many players next to them), but still didn't give back stable FPS.

Exporting a function would be way more convenient. But all in all, admin resources' geolocation database is a rather outdated/incomplete.
