The fact that it crashes one mainstream decompiler doesn't mean that it's a godly solution, not even the slightest.

There's no such thing as "un-decompilable" lua code.

Do you have any original ideas whatsoever? Seems that all of your "great" ideas come from our server.

It's just a teleportation script, not an actual arena-based gamemode. So, Anderl was right.

Those aren't the Cons of using the web-standards to create UIs. Scroll down.

Now that's some dedication and motivation! Talking about my desires – MTA could really use a webkit based GUI engine. It would open a lot of new doors in terms of functionality and creativity. CEGUI is old & robust, not much of a freedom and coding windows is a pain in the ass if you compare it with HTML markup. A slideshow from 2011 on the topic that points out the pros and cons: http://twvideo01.ubm-us.net/o1/vault/gd ... New_UI.pdf All the cool kids on the block are doing their game/app interfaces in web-standards already. http://awesomium.com – A pretty neat Webkit bridge that should be fairly easy to integrate in comparison to many other solutions around. Just have a look at the wiki. http://berkelium.org - an open source one.

RUN We started as a DM/DD server, during the last year we added six additional modes. So far, all our arenas are about racing. And our new arena is no exception to that. But there is something fundamentally different. Something missing. It all started with the idea that you can race without a car. Video made by ThisGuy Run arena combines benefits of deathmatch, race and derby. You can be parachuting in one map and hitting someone's head with a baseball bat in another.

What an awful HUD. What gave you the impression that covering up 1/6 of your screen with a white bar was a good idea?

Any other examples or just trying to convince yourself that you are less of a copycat when saying "there are many" ... There are loads of different styles you can go for, pick your own route, replication is never a key to success.

[OFFER] CrankedServers - semi-dedicated gameservers
FFS-Racing replied to FFS-Racing's topic in Hosting solutions
We only had 2 days when we encountered DDoS attacks (that we couldn't properly mitigate) for a couple of hours and we would be happy to add additional time for the time lost during those, other than that, everything we promised was delivered properly. About the limitations, let me explain - the only limitation Your server has is 50% CPU just to make sure that Your server bugs/badly done scripts would not interfere the other servers that are hosted on this machine. 50% = 3.2 Ghz = enough to run anything, except for an userpanel that uses 1mb XML database to store user data. (The first time I ever saw anyone use xml to store these amounts of data, and god it was poorly done) Everytime someone (single person) opened up the userpanel they were running, the whole server CPU usage went to 100%, the only logical thing to do was to limit CPU usage, but we still gave you way more than you'd ever need to run an MTA server normally. (Note: they bought a 42 slots server) Another thing we, as a host, we're blamed at by these guys was their low FPS. So others may see where I am coming from and what kind of people we were dealing with. For each and every problem they had, they blamed it on the hosting/our server. It takes me 30 seconds to set up an account for you after the payment is made, it doesn't take days, not even one day, not even one hour. I provide direct support through Skype & I am reachable for at least 8 hours a day during weekdays. We are more interested in finding a few long-term clients who need premium hosting services & dedicated hardware rather than many short-term ones looking for budget hosts on shared machines with tens and hundreds of servers hosted on those. That's the reason I haven't added automatic ordering. -
[OFFER] CrankedServers - semi-dedicated gameservers
FFS-Racing replied to FFS-Racing's topic in Hosting solutions
Hello, Thank you for your response and suggestions. But we do not plan to become some sort of a large hosting company, we are just providing semi-dedicated gameservers to help us cover our server bills and at the same time provide guaranteed resources to our clients so they could enjoy the best performance they could get. I have been with quite a number of shared hosting providers in the past and overselling as always been a common quality of those providers. Everybody tries to get clients with the cheapest prices but you cannot provide quality hardware and bandwidth with such low prices. I did not make an ordering-module on purpose, everything goes through me & I provide personal support through Skype. I am updating the control panel from time to time though and add new features, at the moment it provides everything needed to manage servers, but I will surely add more clocks and whistles in the future. Best regards, CrankedServers -

Hello, During the past few days our forums were "hacked" (forum.ffsracing.net), at least the one behind these actions likes to call himself a hacker. We used an original vBulletin 4.1.2 build which had an exploit and the "hacker" got some hashes and salts with this exploit and had those decrypted by other guys on the internet. Only 1 password got actually decrypted and it was Matrix's, which was quite easy to bruteforce. You can see here that he posted the hashes and salts for someone to brute-force those. "Hacker's" information: Username(-s): MaykoX, Maj E-mail: [email protected] MSN: [email protected] Xfire: caremayko11 Skype: M4YK0X IP: 84.41.51.20 Lives in: Slovenia Works at: GTA-Multi staff member Various e-mails: [email protected] [email protected] [email protected] [email protected] [email protected] [email protected] [email protected] Google his e-mail:CLICK HERE! Notice the first URL of the forum and make your own conclusions. His post on our forums: He accused me of stealing someone's work and hosting illegal vBulletin software - none of that was actually true. He also claims so many things, none of which are true, he just used a vBulletin 4.1.2 exploit. Also threatened some of our users to steal their credit card details. After this all happened he came to our forums with his real username and though that no-one would actually investigate what went on and he would never get caught by using a proxy. As you can notice, he's a GTA-Multi staff member. How can you ever be sure to host your things there when the owners/workers are actively trying to hack sites. They could easily compromise anyone's database hosted on their servers and try to bruteforce the passwords or other delicate information. Think twice before choosing GTA-Multi as your host!

Wait, what? You should really apply to some kind of fairy-tale contest cause you're really good in making things up. Just to clarify, I bet no-one actually cares about what you say around here or anywhere, but it was easy as that: • I banned you guys from our server, you got overwhelmed about it and started producing shit like little lunatics. • You "Cracked" my Toolbox-script which has been around for months already and included a story-book with nothing but fiction in it. • You tried telling shit about us but actually made your clan look like shit. • You released maps that have been around there for half a year. Please go and live your life and stop wasting so much time on virtually pointless things, do something useful. For example educate your-self or I don't care what really as long as it doesn't have anything to do with me.
