  2. Hi I have tried to add addcom and trace scriots to my server, but to no avail. I use mta:ma and load scripts. I copy the scripts (with hashes down side) into notpead and call them .mrc QWhat am I doing wrong? Any help is appreciated. (do you have to !set scripts are something) Please help! (I use PRS 1.3, and I can't get ANy extra scripts to work for it )
  3. I am trying to use game monitor to show info about my server in my sig. But whenever I put the link to the pic in it says 'could not setermine size of image'. How can I get it to show my server info as my sig?

  5. Thanks! And those definitely work with prs? No chance of a addcom then? EDIT: The buyfreeze works but the trace doesn't. Anyway to change the time of the freeze? And no addcom?

Hi, are there any scripts out there for !trace !addcom and maybe buycommands (ie buy freeze) that work with Scooby's PRS app. Whenever I try to use other ones it seems they are made for GUs as they always say: 'must be level 5' But that is level 5/10 when Scooby's scripts use 5 levels only. Any help would be appreciated.

  8. Yeah, sorry... been busy lately. ok. Here are some screenies: Extended ramp from the health pickup area in orginal map (nos at bottom to clear jump at top) Jump at top of ramp + change into faster car. Shot of the runup and the upide down driving sequence: More detailed shot of the upside down area: The upside down part helps you get a sandking, which is needed, as you have to reverse up the steep ramp with nos to clear the mini reverse jump at the top, where you pick up a turismo-: When you have the tourismo there is anotehr short sequence of ramps (to get you a bit higher): At the top you pick up some nitrous and head for the dinghy pickup: There is a slide to build up speed and then a loop (in the dinghy ): At the end of the loop there is a ramp and you fly onto a platform, and the pickups rasie you higher until you hit the top where the RC Baron is, with a ledge underneath it so you cannot fall back onto the car pickups-: In normal Wankenstein, where the barrel roll jump for the RC Baron normally is, I have substituted it with a similar layout (there are invisible walls there) A shot showing the invisible walls (from their visible back) I'll leave you to work out how to make that jump, needless to say, it is highly difficult, doable, and not the normal way And finally, I feel that the orginal health pickup (where I extended the platform) is too easy, I have left the water one in place, but the other one has been moved to the top of a loop to make it a bit more difficult:
  9. My new map, made because I love the Wankenstein maps and servers, so I wanted to make my own version. I have modified the orginal baron pickup, made a really cool sequence including upside down driving for a second baron, and put a few extras in too. I hope you guys enjoy it!     But u were hitting packers with skimmers and no damage was done, yet one flew off Amazing vid though, must have taken ages to think of the rail grinds and billboard landings, and even longer to pull it off. Well done.

  13. It is a dinghy map so moving half and bridging between would be tricky. That's why I need help. 600x600 is how big roughly? How much movement of half would be needed?

Hey guys, upon the completion of my map, a loop map with boats (it IS a fun map) I noticed that elements of the map went missing, until I added a new object, forcing the elements in that area to reappear but causing the loss of elements in other areas. Basically, it's f***** up. I was informed that it could be to do with the object limit, so I used mass mover to put it way out to sea, but that didn't really help much. I psent so long on this map and other maps (ie the ones on Phrozenbyte) are brimming with objects in the same area but they load fine. Maybe I've done something wrong, or added in the wrong sort of objects that are known to be buggy, and this is only my second map and I am at a loss as to what to do. So I leave my map in the capable hands of the map Making elite on MTA (I wouldn't mind the guy that made the going-down maps) and I have uploaded it, hoping that you guys could take a quick look and help me out.   15. A controller is much better for Planes and choppers, and it is much easier to remember the controls and every button you need is in the palm of your hand without the need to stretch or shift poistion to reach a certain button. Rockstar even recommend a dual stick controller for San Andreas.

    Amazing. But which parts required mods? (obviously the skimmer thing needed a mod) coz it seemed like a lot of mods went into taht vid. (No offense meant, you can't make decent stunt vids without mods really)
  17. I presume by 'luck maps' you mean what other servers class as [Fun] maps that, oo guess what, aren't based on skill so you might not win this time! Aww, too bad. Well servers like Phrozenbyte put [Fun] tags on falling maps and dinghy maps and they are popular there and often voted for but all the maps on LW that are random fun like Jump2Death and the going-down or going_down are just deleted. Some of the maps on Phrozenbyte are really elite, or amazingly cleverly designed. Shame about the small amount of DM maps though. I can appreciate being annoyed by the n00bish maps that are just boring checkpoint only races with no added anything, but [Fun] maps take ages to make and quite often a lot of bugtesting and fixing are involved, but some people never appreciate this. LW maps are still so sh*t because the map testing is only done on maps that are uploaded now, not the ones that were uploaded before the testing began. Here follows the Gravestone text for my dinghy map, a bug free map that took me HOURS to make. -- DinghyDownFall -- - Back, and forth, back, and forth ([]Alpha) - to glitchy (plop) - Forth and back, forth and back, whoops I missed a check while falling ([]Alpha) - idea sucks (Cygnus) Voted yes: 0 / Voted no: 3 * Map deleted * IT'S A 100KB TEXT FILE PEOPLE, WHY NOT LET THE PUBLIC, THE PEOPLE THAT ACTUALLY PLAY THESE MAPS, DECIDE FOR THEMSELVES! Jesus those maps are bloody amazing. But oh, they might come under the [Fun] category! -- Going-Down7 -- + not as good as 5 or 6, but still fun and original (Cygnus) - the the loop between cp3&4 is totaly unsuitable (Plop) + classic... but it's the one I like the less.. (Knuckles) - going_down is supposed to be fun... (Knuckles) - Consider my ideas and you win my vote ([]Alpha) + So far, I won more work, wehee ([]Alpha) Voted yes: 2 / Voted no: 2 Votes tie; moderator's vote is decisive * Map approved * It is this kind of attitude that has caused a dry patch in the amount of decent maps being made, people are putting lots of effort into their maps and if the admins decide they don't like it, out it goes. Map testing really should be done by public vote, I mean how difficult would that be to put into server script, giving a map a rank with a command (ie !rank 8 ) and any map that has a bad rank after say, 30 reviews will get put up for deletion, and only the admins can override the deletion if they want to. Get your act together Admins! Unless you have ever made a big complicated map, don't take them for granted! They are called [Fun] for a good reason...
  18. Hi. I have this problem (with my 360 controller), where the right stick won't work. Everyone says that you need a different profile for XBCD to make the stick work so you can use the right analogue stick, yet it doesn't work for me. I am using the latest version of xbcd (1.07 i think). When I load profile configs I can see the way that the right stick has been mapped differently (for the fix), and it should work, yet it doesn't. Maybe it's the way i load the profiles, as if I load a profile then apply it, exit the XBCD utility and then reopen it, the profile changes back to default, which is why it might not be working. Is there something specific you have to do to keep the profile, or do you have to restart your PC to apply a profile properly? Any help with this problem would be great as I currently use my PS2 controller and that works ok but I want to sell my PS2. Cheers. PS My controller is not official (it is joytech neo advanced SE), but that shouldn't make a difference or it wouldn't work on the 360 surely?

  22. These maps are the kind of unoriginal 'races' where you drive around the normal map with not much added that are so favoured on littlewhiteys server nowadays. All the fun stuff such as going_down and the going-down series have been deleted from littlehiteys, so are fun maps because they are about 'luck.' Servers such as phrozenbyte and 24/7 Cops have much better maps.
  23. Once you've paid for it, you'd get the exe and install it twice, unless the MTA team feel like implementing a tricky serial code verification, unlikely for a mod.
