I'm sure you would create a better RE atmosphere than the Los Santos one. If you want, I could try to map a Racoon City recreation, and why not, with custom models. if you mind about it, I could show you which is my potential
-
Does this sound like a particularly attractive offer to you? I doubt he'll actually pay (enough for being two "hard" scripts) to make it worth for anyone. Maybe he forgot to put: "I need a scripter for two hard scripts, a awesome revenue of 1000U$S is waiting you!" I doubt it.
-
Not- you can still find a paid scripter.
-
Awesome idea, but I think it would be pretty better if you make it in a custom map, would be more awesome (Lol)
-
You can map with 127 persons, (as it is the player limit). Just load your server and, logged as admin, /start editor then you will be able to create your maps, and all the players in the server will be able too.

I thought delux-host closed after they scammed my partner ^^ (he paid a 52 slots SA:MP server until January 2011 and the never magically never worked again)
-
Sounds interesting, I can help you, but in consideration, you should let me to include the entire script to the BlueDragon Gamemode (private gamemode for a server). The main goal of our script is Free roaming, version 1.0 is already out and already running, and all the NFS thingy would be included in a second goal of the script itself.

Wooaa.. Alien City is just AWESOME! I would bet a MTA SA would RULE. Maybe ill do some compabilty test, try replacing some objects, seeing if they are working fine. If they do, maybe a full-Anderius server would be done
-
Yes, it is possible. Using a mod like GTA United, and replace the SA objects with VC objects, and remapping the entire Vice City far away from the (now messed up) San Andreas, and script that. It would be very hard, and the objects would not have proper LODs (until MTA 1.1) but yes, everything would be nice. If you wanna, do it. I am sure it would become a popular server so fast.
-
I get it, but why is this in MTA Discussion? It's hard to overstate my satisfaction. Aperture Science: We do what we must because we can.

Vehicle Mod's Collision can work. It did worked for me. You just have to use CollEdit, extract the collision from the vehicle, add it in another resource, load the vehicle DFF and TXD in a resource, load the vehicle COL, restart the DFF and TXD resource and it is working. I am working in a easier way of archieve this
-
Awesome idea... Really good map
-
This is REALLY ANNOYING. A hard and hard work, then I touch the button test, the resource froze and my camera too, I restarted the editor using (/restart editor) then when I loaded the map again, 1 / 3 of my map is gone! Checked the .map with notepad++, GONE? This is the line in the log after the last line of the object I was editing [21:23:37] ERROR: ...match/resources/editor_main/server/resourcehooks.lua:50: bad argument #1 to 'ipairs' (table expected, As a experienced scripter in PAWN, for SA:MP, it was just 2 days for me to migrate correctly to LUA to make awesome things. Come on, I didn't want till the awesome functions and awesome sync attracted me And as you say, Kye is really a very short words man, and I DONT KNOW how he managed to make SA:MP a sucess, he discrepated all his donators, programmers (not same than scripters) and he is really negliglent. WHY SA:MP IS POPULAR THAN MTA? SA:MP is the bad boy here, it really lacks of awesome functions, it takes AGES for Kye to make just a minor release (remember, SA:MP is just a beta from its starting, as 0.3a means MAJOR VERSION 0, MINOR VERSION 3, STAGE Alpha. MTA could be compared to a nerd boyhere, maybe he is less popular but he is clearly clever, with good minds making this open source project a really hit, and we are already in the 1.0.3 that means MAJOR VERSION 1, MINOR VERSION 0, BUGFIX 3. Other projects are just the girls in the game, they are clearly, not a pain in the neck for MTA neither SA:MP I really think MTA will become god in some time, we will see

Problems in MTA...something something..HELP NEEDED.

You modified your gta3.img = you installed mods. Reinstall GTA. -
My car mods changed its collisions AFAIK but dont remember very well. Ill check. EDIT: 50p, true. But I tested loading and replacing the col in a resource and the dff and txd in other. If I do that, and start the resource with an ferry spawned near my player, the collision, txd and dff works as it haves to do, but if you are not in the LOS of the ferry, you will not see it collideable, I think I saw that as an known bug.

I had tried replacing some cars dff and txds, they worked as they had to do. Now, I tried with a boat mod and the boat shows correcly but it is not collideable, but when I tried it in my Single Player it was collideable. I have checked everything, the script, the meta.xml, everything. Any hint out there?
