OK, all drivers and the BIOS updated successfully as far as I can tell. If you could, go to Start -> type devmgmt.msc -> enter -> under Network adapters give me the driver version number for Marvell Yukon 88E8040 PCI-E Fast Ethernet Controller, and under IDE ATA/ATAPI Controllers give me the driver version for Intel® ICH9M-E/M SATA AHCI Controller. What specifically is slow? Everything? Can you describe the slowness in any way - is there just constant lag, hard drive thrashing, or something else?

Could you provide a dxdiag report? Press the Windows key + R, type dxdiag, press Enter, click Save all information... and post the contents of the saved log here within Code tags.

Yes, that hard drive should be fine. Lower resolutions are generally more CPU limited, so it can be normal depending on your CPU.

Try following these steps: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/922976 I don't believe it's possible or a good idea to downgrade your BIOS.

All drivers are up to date. Could you provide the model number of your computer if there is one? Hard disk performance could be a cause - your hard drives are fairly old and obsolescent. You can have Windows automatically defragment drives overnight. Start -> type "Disk Defragmenter" -> enter -> change the schedule to defragment daily. I'll have someone look at your crashes.

Sorry for the slowness - could you provide another MTADiag log so I can ensure everything updated properly?

I'm the driver genius, not some stupid program. Please download and run MTADiag and follow the instructions. Enter 'n' when it prompts you if MTA is working.

Do you get a blue screen of death?

Enter 'n' at the prompt where it asks you if MTA works; a log will be generated and uploaded to Pastebin. Link to that log here.

I don't have Skype. Can you install TeamViewer and PM me your login ID and password

You'll need to ensure your ports are forwarded. Use this port checker to verify. If you do not know how to forward ports, please post the model number of your router and we'll try to help. Topic moved to Server support section.
