Please try a non-modified gta3.img and see if the crash persists.

It should have generated a log file and automatically uploaded it to Pastebin, then opened a web browser to the Pastebin link. Did it not?

Yes, not all nightlies are set to automatically update. I had no idea that it would work to be honest, I just thought I'd suggest it in the hope that it would work.

MTADiag apparently does not open the generated log's PasteBin URL under Windows 8. I am looking into the issue.

Windows 8 is RTM and the latest nightly of MTA:SA works with Windows 8. If you are having any issues with Windows 8, don't hesitate to post about them (please include an MTADiag log). Topic unstickied.
