  1. Yep, it's a good one indeed. Adding this feature to MTA SA will not be a waste of time at all. Except for what you said about the FPS, no it can't be fixed by SA Stream Fix, you'll need a better PC. I also hope this was granted.
  2. Yep, that directional blip just like the player's blip. You can see that in the GTA SA mission Madd Dogg Rhymes. That would be good if you could hack it.
  3. Nah, I just took textures. Nothing else. So it's still compatible with MTA SA. ENB Series are compatible with MTA SA. You can find settings if you search it on google. @Ca11lum: Well, those clouds can get better FPS though.
  4. Huh, I think Valhalla would also pay attention to this! Anyone has some good icons? I want it too.

    Stop Lights?

Wise choice! MTA SA is better than SA-MP until you see what it can do. Just see some of the scripts & gamemodes over here: http://www.community.multitheftauto.com and look at resources. @Mini: Of course learning to script with lua language is for scripters. Don't worry, it won't be hard to learn. It's even easier than PAWN language which is used in SA-MP.
  6. Wow! It was finished before the roadmap does it! Good work. Gonna take some icons for a blip pack, I think I could make some Hi-res blips? Or a portal icon as a spawn? An ambulance as an ambulance car or a red & blue car as police cars? Awesome!
  7. Yeah, that will also happen if you have lots of effects or objects or vehicles in one place. Anyway, tested in GTA SA, putting this stream fix doesn't make any crashes at all. But not sure if in MTA SA.
  8. You're right, in some cases the MTA SA custom objects loader do have problems. So if the problems made by the MTA SA custom objects loader is fixed, it's good. But hey, that doesn't mean it's all gone, there's also GTA SA streaming limits, cause GTA SA has very limited streaming limit, so you can't hold many HD custom objects at a time, whether it's working nicely or not. I said this cause I ever played GTA SA and do massive modding, and I face this problem, and also found the solution.
  9. @Dr4x: I don't mean that, this also could happen if you load loads of custom models in MTA SA, I'm requesting this so there's extended limit for custom models too. And as Spider-vice said, whether you have decent graphics card, that doesn't make any effect cause of the GTA SA's limit. So yeah I already told about the fix, I think I need to request so that there's much larger poly limit.
  10. I think I ever heard of the same topic. It was answered that you can't change paintjobs yet. But you still can change it by your client.
  11. The GTA SA's streaming limit is very small. When it reach its limits and keeps pushing further, it will break, resulting to continually drop your FPS everytime if you keep the game running, fading in and out objects seen everytime you move around, thus lags (to 1 fps) a lot even in good computers. When this happens, you were forced to restart GTA SA or MTA SA, to temporally fix this. When you load lots of custom objects and play for a while, you'll see that the GTA objects just dissapear fading in and out objects seen everytime you move around, or only appear LODs. Also, when you keep playing while the condition was like this, your game might lag a lot and reduces your fps. Some years ago, I ever mod the GTA SA, and always faced the same problem. Then I heard that there is a stream fix that fix all of these problems. It's called SA Stream Memory Fix. It works by ASI file btw. The Stream Fixes are over here (and of course, made by Alexander): http://alexander.sannybuilder.com/Files ... Fix2.2.rar (V 2.2) http://alexander.sannybuilder.com/Files ... MemFix.rar (V 2.0 & 1.0) But sadly, it doesn't support MTA SA. The newest MTAQA video, on News Round Up - Spring Edition on Youtube, has this top rated comment: Thumbs up if MTA SA 1.1 should feature a stream memory fix for custom models and better FPS. (Taken from )For the better FPS, that's the fix on MTA SA 1.0.5 and 1.1, you can enjoy better FPS in 1.0.5 for now. They should redirect about the stream memory fix here. Update: mike_samaki uploaded Sacky Limit Adjuster's source code, which was down from the GTAforums link when the link is still active (luckily). http://www.box.net/shared/8kthj6eps1 http://www.mediafire.com/?tmigdrpopa0pwlt FAQ Q: I got an idea! Why not make ASI compatible again? A: Why would MTA SA make ASI compability? With that, then CLEO mods are possible. MTA SA aims not to make that possible, because it's not safe. Q: How should I reprodube this glitch? A: Examples on how to reproduce: Play MTA SA and load lots of custom objects / vehicles (probably which is high-poly & HD textures), place it in one map and go around the place. Build maps in Los Santos, especially around Big Smoke's house. (This is because of the amounts of polys and objects around this city. Around Big Smoke's house is the most.) Bug report, first reported by Phatlooser: http://bugs.mtasa.com/view.php?id=5745
  12. You need to make a script which creates the slothbot. The slothbot doesn't mean they spawn, but they're the source of these bots. Use export functions to make it.
  13. Alright, this was my same purpose question as my stream fixes topic. So if you load lots of custom models, can cause the GTA objects to f*ck up and make freezes. This is because the GTA's streaming limits, this also happens on GTA SA. So I think I also need to submit to add stream fixes, but in SA-MP, this doesn't happen.
  14. On your script, which one is client, which one is server? If it's client, don't give "theplayer", or any kind like that on every part of the script. the addEventHandler is having a wrong argument on the second argument. So the correct addEventHandler should be: addEventHandler("onPlayerJoin", getRootElement(), avvertilogin) It's easy, change "theplayer" in addEventHandler to "getRootElement()". Here's the example: (Also fixed the typos in your writing) function registrazionedb(thePlayer) local account = getAccountName(getPlayerAccount(thePlayer)) if(account) then executeSQLSelect("Giocatori", "Giocatore", "Giocatore = '" ..account.. "'") if (type(result) == "table" and #result == 0) or not result then outputChatBox("** Please wait while your account is being registered in the database... ", getRootElement(), 100, 255, 0) -- Proper english output fix by me! executeSQLInsert("Giocatori","'"..account.."',0,0,0") outputChatBox("**Account succesfuly registered! ", getRootElement(), 100, 255, 0) --Proper english output fix again by me! end outputChatBox("** Account sucessfully loaded! ", getRootElement(), 100, 255, 0) --Proper english output fix again by me! local datiaccount = executeSQLSelect("Giocatori", "Soldi, Kill, Morti", "Giocatore = '" ..account.. "'") setPlayerMoney(thePlayer,datiaccount[1]['Soldi']) textCreateTextItem("Kill :", 0.8, 0.35, "medium", 255, 255, 0) textCreateTextItem("Death :", 0.8, 0.4, "medium", 255, 255, 0) textCreateTextItem("Ratio :", 0.8, 0.4, "medium", 255, 255, 0) end end addEventHandler("onPlayerLogin",getRootElement(),registrazionedb) -- Changed "theplayer" to "getRootElement()" in this line. PS: You must be -RoCk-Emalegend, right? You must be doing this for the -RoCk- clan server. I can help you fix some problems.
  15. Ahh ok, I just request the number PNG (white) and that's all, instead of stealing the whole script! I think I was spoiling the topic... but that's ok.
  16. Aha! Good idea, I'll take the third option! Just the number png.
  17. Yeah, that HUD was awesome! I hope he releases it soon. For me it was like the HUD used in PSP version of Gran Turismo, like: But this one covers a lot more space than that. That's the downside of the HUD like 50p said. Anyway, I need to change those unicode into a png picture, but the ones over there is not one by one, but instead all in one big png file. I want a 0-9 and nicely done digital writing. maybe you could give me a link to the digital number png pack, or you could show me another way?
  18. Ahh good job, I was finding for the digital-7 font PNG and there it is! Thanks 50p once again, I'll script this later.
  19. So yeah it's just an image. Can you share the png files and script for the digital font?
  20. Wow that's a great HUD you got there. How did you make the digital font? I really really need that font for my digital speedometer.

    carcols.dat

This was thanks to my modding past. Anyway, carcols.dat also has limits, maybe 135 IDs (as I know), so you can't easily add custom colours easily without limits...

    carcols.dat

Actually, I really want something like car color pallet. So I could choose custom colors by RGB colours. My solution to this was only carcols.dat, but I can't edit it cause It'll be said as modified. I really want custom color! So yeah, maybe I could submit this as a new great feature. And yes, Carcol is not car collision, but car colours data, better check before you reply. Here, I'll tell you what carcols.dat do: # This file contains all the info about the car colours. There are two # sections, col which contains the colour table and car which contains # the possible indices into the colour table for each car. # # The end column of the col section is the radio chat version of the car colour. # # Press START on controller to reload this file while the game is running. # # # # # # 1-10 service colours - careful with these # 126 hot pink - do not use # # #street, 9,73 col 0,0,0 # 0 black black 245,245,245 # 23. Hey Rhbk! Nice work again! Keep going for the next beta or release. One thing, not allowing to unzip files is not really a good idea, because of the inability to save configurations, as 50p said. So here's my important question, was it possible to edit files now? If yes, I was also planning to put my HUD (Alternate HUD)to the Basemode. But I need a function which hides / shows HUD during an event like spectating or select team. I will be making a Basemode only version which places on the bottom (just near the info bar), and only health is visible. (not really different, just change position, no armor bar, and no GTA time. And maybe changing the position which shows kills & deaths. Rhbk, can you tell me a function in your script which shows / hides the HUD? If no, well next time make a bit "open source" so people can edit the way they like.
  24. Hey nice work on the exporting. And those maps are cool! Btw, you can also take the roller coaster & stunt park part on the Anderius (located on south), it's awesome! PS: Lol, you used my hud over there! Btw, update it please! I already uploaded a newer version. And, how did you get the Camhack working?
