    Play at 1920 x 1080?

    Hello I want to play MTA at 1920 x 1080 but I set the option in MTA and it doesnt not work. Opens SA and opens to a black screen. In SA the option for that resolution is not avaliable. How do I do it?
  5. I dont see it too resolved as Ive been to about 3-4 servers today and there are enough cheaters that make the server unplayable or unenjoyable.
  6. Hey The cheating on MTA is becoming simply unbearable. I believe this topic should be for ideas on how to prevent it. A quick one off the top of my head would be a ID/signing method. Each time MTA is installed (yes, I know uninstalling would be simple but it would be time consuming every time you are banned and have to uninstall and reinstall), MTA generates a ID. That ID is not only signed by MTA but is signed INTO the gtasa.exe executable. If you are banned from ANY server for cheating, that ID (and the .exe) is not allowed to enter any servers. If the ID and the sig in the gtasa.exe do not match, you cannot enter either. Another solution would registring into the MTA site itself. Would also make everything more "Steamlike" but MTA devs can view cheating methods and boot automatically from servers, learn from the cheating methods and implant anticheats, etc. Also this would ban you from the site itself which instalation could be numered uniquely so even though it is downloaded from another site, it cant be used as it is not the next unique instal in the list. Another, this the most expensive one, would be bots. Every server would have a bot. If there is a cheater reported, the server picks up the details from the cheater (IP, MAC, username, memory details, etc) and MTA can view it to learn from it. The MTA team problably thought most of these out but giving ideas doesnt hurt. Lets hope there is less and less cheating in MTA.
  7. I am against this. Why do you want a update to VC and GTA3? I believe the GTA3 map has been ported to a SA map version and uses the SA engine and MTA:SA engine. VC Im not sure of. But why do you want to use a older and worse engine?
  8. I think all windows rendered should have a Min, Max and Close buttons. Make it alot easier to navigate and if you want to leave (for example) the map floating around, you can do it
  9. I think there should be PM windows so you can hit Tab, double click on someone in the list, and PM them personally so you dont fill the general with carbage. Too many crowded windows? Thats another topic...

  11. WOW Alot of talk about this. My personal opinion: MTA will continue development with GTA SA. They wont even try to touch GTAIV.
  12. Is MTA and the GTA Windowed mod compatible? I was playing with a few members and they told me they were running in window mode. How do I get it to work?
  13. The build in MP has only static gamemodes, so I prefer MTA above GTA IV MP. Mods for PC will problably fix it. Im just talking about the netplay code.

BTW MTA Fans: If you click on those affiliates then click on their ads, the ads give that affiliate a referral and those affiliates give MTA's site also funds....Dont be tricked.... Oh yea if it was all false and lies made by me then you would say "Belive what you wanna belive time will tell" but all you do is delay by addressing me..... Im not gonna continue because this is about the coming soon Blue core... BTW If someone has the "Computer Games" magazine that has the publicity of MTA please post it.
  17. Right right no banner ads but you have affiliates right right.... It isnt intentionally delayed?? I cant wait for the screenshots to come out after something about San Andreas for PC is announced.... And if its not true why do you even address me? Your just fronting and trying to make yourself look good. Its a very good act tho; me the bad guy and you the good MTA Team member... Good job on that Hype and publicity? You perfectly know what that is. I found out about the project thru a magazine...This really gets me mad that you people wanna sound stupid when your perfectly know whats going on around you. That really pisses me off...
  18. Because the team is like that.... And yes Rockstar is allowed to do that because the PS2/Sony contract applies i believe only to consoles not other forms of reproducing games. Anyways i think it expired too.... Yes i know they are sync'd. And why? idk.......MAYBE BECAUSE THE 2 PLAYERS ON THE SAME CONSOLE?!?!??!! SA's MP didnt have netcode because a) it was stupid to write netcode when they can do it on the same console b) it isnt worth it for a console like PS2 c) if it did then the PS2 would burn down because it wouldnt be able to handle it (altho there have already been reports of PS2s overheating and damaging) End of story. And yes MTA Team deny your delay all you want.......but ill be "Waiting" for your so called release of 0.4.5 and i wont even wait for Blue because its been months. Its all hype and to get publicity and money to keep the servers running so they can work on MTA when they want to. Another thing they are really smart is buying/renting their domain: http://www.mtavc.com . It is so stupid to go to a site for MP for San Andreas and its http://www.mtavc.com . Something more logical would be http://www.gtamta.com or just kill the MTA thing and name it something else. It deserves it after (and this is a long way till) Blue comes out. my 2 cents.....if noone is with me fine it there are followers thank you
  19. They're delaying news on purpose and arent working very much on BLUE because they are waiting on news from Rockstar on GTA San Andreas for PC. They wanna see what Rockstar does. They're most important goal is to see if 2player stays or if it doesnt. The real I say they cant work on BLUE is because they dont know anything about San Andreas so they cant work on it. They gotta make it tri compatible between GTA3, VC, and SA. Dev team; would it have been so hard to say that?
  20. BACK ON TOPIC..... I think it will be pretty hard considering the size of San Andreas. Plus the engine has somewhat changed as well. I say the change because as you well know it was stated that it would take 15 REAL world minutes to get to the other side. So there would be a demand for the train and planes. But trains are hard to sync. But i have hope for the MTA team (altho i have lost hope in the past....)

  22. If you pause your free to die and get hurt just like in Quake 3, Halo or any other MP game. If would be nice like if in Quake 3, a little icon was above your head saying "PAUSE" or "TYPING" that way you can either 1) Ignore him and wait till hes done to get a clean kill (or just hunt another pray) 2) Be a lamer and kill him and act all powerful and n00bish.
  23. Team Car Chase between Cops and Robbers: A bit like CTF Defense and Offence The Cops are in police cars and robbers in another car of choice. Both cars have the Speedmeter on. The object is the cops gotta RAM (not destory) the robber's car into a wall or something and with the cop car touch the robber car and maintain the speed of the robber car under lets say 10MPH. If they can do that for say 5 secs they get thrown in jail. But now some extended gameplay - No guns - Nor robbers or cops can get out of there car. - There gotta be a timelimit for switchups - Before gameplay, both teams decide on a 5 digit code. When a team is in jail if they guess that 5 digit code they their cell is unlocked and they can break free. - You can get out of the car if you stand in the small radius in front of the jailhouse. If your a cop you can just guard the place and go around (you cant be a traitor and open the cell) If your a robber and you go to the cell you can free all of your teammates. - Points are awarded as following: Cops get points if they capture someone. They lose a point if a robber breaks free or they damage and blow up a robbers car. Robbers if at the end of the timelimit there are robbers free they get as many points as there are robbers out of jail. Also if they break free or get their car blowed up they also get a point. Also if they blow up a cop car they get a point. If they get captured they lose a point or if they get put back in jail (see below) - When someone is locked in jail, their health is at 1. To break free, first they must get their cell open, next they must be able to get out of the jailhouse onto the street. From there they will be transported to the robbers hideaway to their car. If they get shot and caught by a cop while escaping they die, they lost a point and the cops gain one. And of course get put back in jail. - While in the jailhouse, Cops get a 9mm gun - If possible maybe cops with a button can lay a spike strip behind the trail of their car and robbers could lay a oil slick behind the trail of their car. - If your car has been damaged you can change cars by grinding against another one (of course if your a cop a cop car and a robber a robber car) and pressing a button. - If all robbers get captured they are automatically freed. Also after a certain timelimit they are also automatically free (so they wont get bored) Alll i can think of right now. Maybe a few modifications here and there but it be pretty nice to see. Thanks.
