TechG9 Posted May 5, 2011 Posted May 5, 2011 Hello, I found a map with custom objects, and i want to make it a race map, with spawn points and checkpoints... but the map is with custom object, and becuse of this, in the editor, i can't see any of the object, and if i can't see the object, i can't see the track, and i cant make checkpoints or spawn points without to track... only on test mode i can see the custom objects. so if there is a In Game Race Map Editor, that i can put there spawn points and checkpoints, please post it in here =) Thanks
Xierra Posted May 5, 2011 Posted May 5, 2011 MTA SA provided a map editor. But in order to put custom objects into the editor, load the resource that contains the custom objects, and find the ID of the replaced object. Like that, you can place those custom objects in.
TechG9 Posted May 5, 2011 Author Posted May 5, 2011 i don't understand how to do that. i have a .zip file, of a race that i did not build. and when im entering the map editor, i can't see the new custom objects that the mapper build, and when im going in "test mode" (F5) i can see all the objects. so my question is how can i see the custom objects when im in the "Editor Mode"?
GodFather Posted May 5, 2011 Posted May 5, 2011 You need to edit your editor script and in there put the custom objects to load when you enter map editor. I think so don't take my word.
karlis Posted June 6, 2011 Posted June 6, 2011 Just click "Open" button and choose your map facepalm. anyway, just restart the res that loads the obj after mapedit is started
