eXistence Posted June 10, 2005 Posted June 10, 2005 When I tried to use the San Andreas HUD in MTA, in every server I tried, it crashed. It worked in multiplayer so that's not the problem. So I suggest custom hud support. It's not going to hurt gameplay for anyone else. Just a thought.
s0beit Posted June 10, 2005 Posted June 10, 2005 not gonna happen...the advantage of d3d hacks in MTA is little to none... BUT, for one thing. the SCM offsets for MTA differ from SP. second, MTA already injects to GTA....its hardly possible.
Si|ent Posted June 10, 2005 Posted June 10, 2005 On the contrary, customised HUDs will be possible relatively simply in future MTA's built upon the Blue core. The current core (0.5 and previous versions) of course should not be used alongside any other mods, as it clearly states in both the EULA and the manual.

I.E. stopwatch trainer that writes the GTA's memory to display a countdown. and of course in BLUE its possible....directX is supported somewhat. and even if this were allowed, its not possible (MAYBE by injecting into mta itself (injecting into a injection...lol))
Si|ent Posted June 10, 2005 Posted June 10, 2005 The mod creator isn't the person to judge wether the mod is 'OK', the MTA Team retains the right to prevent release of modifications, or approve of them. At no time has carte blanche been given in this regard.
eXistence Posted June 12, 2005 Author Posted June 12, 2005 Well custom HUDS on blue is good too. I just really don't see how a custom HUD would make it possible for anyone to cheat.
