Bishop
I´d assume the 0.4 core is the core used for 0.4 but you´d know. Unlike the boat picture that wouldn´t be misleading at all lol Link to comment
orappa
I´d assume the 0.4 core is the core used for 0.4 but you´d know. Well they don't invent a new core for each new version of MTA so the core will always have a lower version number. I remember there was a bit of confusion about that a long time ago which is probably why they changed the name to Blue. Link to comment
Bishop
"the 0.4 core" , do you mean the core used in 0.4 or the 04. core The core 0.4 The 0.4 core lol Misleading pfft , coders would know the difference If he was talking about the core 0.4 the quote lost its point Link to comment
eAi
For some bizzare reason, our core blue core is versioned as 0.4, which really confuses anyone and everyone, hence the code name, blue. eAi Link to comment
Gtatari
That's a pretty interesting article; I found it very entertaining during the class I read it in. My question is: a part of it talks about running code as if it was originally in the exe. Does the client just modify the exe once as its loaded into ram, or does it persistently have to change the games memory to keep the effect of the program running code that was never there? I've known about this technique, but as I've never written a mod my self, I find it an interesting concept. Also, I was playing gta mta 0.5, and realized that I had forgotten how much MTA kicks ass, and want to thank and congratulate everyone on the mta team for sticking and working together on an astonishing mod. )>-GTAtari-<( Link to comment
