Hawk_Boy Posted February 6, 2005 Posted February 6, 2005 How do you guys make MTA compatible with the ASE? how?
Slothman Posted February 6, 2005 Posted February 6, 2005 I think game developers have to apply to the ase people for approval. I know it's free, unlike gamespy Check out my recent work: ZDay - a zombie script Slothbot - an AI deathmatch bot my community profile (all my resources)
JacoB Posted February 6, 2005 Posted February 6, 2005 What does it matter? If you'd look at your server when you started it, it would say it attempts to register the server with ASE.. obviously it sends the server information to the ASE server, and clients connected to ASE will see it.. But I'm sure ASE wouldn't just take any game. It might even cost something. odd question, lol
nick Posted February 6, 2005 Posted February 6, 2005 the only way i got mine to work was to change the DMZ setting on my router page,,, however in doing that i went from 4mbps to about 1mbps. CAPS LOCK IS CRUISE CONTROL FOR COOL
Slothman Posted February 6, 2005 Posted February 6, 2005 wow, those last 2 posts had nothing to do with the question. jacob: as i said, ase is free for developers nick: you need to open up a port for ase to work, the port is whatever the game port is + 123. so if you use 2003, open up 2126 Check out my recent work: ZDay - a zombie script Slothbot - an AI deathmatch bot my community profile (all my resources)

orappa Posted February 6, 2005 Posted February 6, 2005 I think they have an SDK that you can download. MTA:SA FAQ - Read this before asking questions. MTA:SA Troubleshooting - Read this first if you have problems.
eAi Posted February 6, 2005 Posted February 6, 2005 We have an agreement with UDPSoft (and now Yahoo!) through which they give us access to a customized SDK in exchange for the in-client logo, website logo and installer logo. Normally they charge for this. eAi
