screen flickering and screen setting

everytime while playing the screen flickers quite alot is this normal?

and when i try to change to 800x600 32 the game crashes back to desktop are you able to change the screen setting?

Start up the game normally without MTA and change your video settings.

As for the flickering can you give anymore details? like when it happens, is it constant? etc.

thanks for the screen resolution thing and the flickering it is constant and mostly flickesr at the bottom of the screen strange though if you look to the sky the flickering stops.

this sounds like a video driver issue. make sure your fully up to date on your directx and video card drivers.

or your monitor is fecked

he said it changed depending on what he's looking at, so the only thing that could be related to the monitor is if this is an old video card that cant keep up with the monitor refresh rate.

What video card do you have?

these are driver problems, the flickering happens a lot to me using the latest nvidia drivers, though i got used to it

changed it to 800x600 and i think the flickering has stopped as it was on 640x480

i run all my gta games at 640x480, that way im sure i get constant 30 fps and tbh, gta3 and vc dont really run that good, they sometimes lag more than css or tribes2 o_O
