Could someone give me the address of a server that's actually WORKING?

I tried a few servers and they all say . I followed all tips (like upgrading to 1.1, adding the line to the .ini file...)

That sounds like a problem on your end...It has nothing to do with the server

Actually that's untrue, when the client cannot download the server's rich motd - it will crash. This happened to my server when my site went down.

OK, I already found a (German) server which' MOTD was ok, so connecting worked.

As Mike said, if the server has an invalid url or a bad server in their motd, the client will crash on connect. This will be fixed in a future release.
