Jani Posted December 26, 2004 Posted December 26, 2004 we pay £25 a month ($47.96 USD) for 1Mbps cable internet. apparently the fastest residential connection you can get in the UK is 4Mbps, which costs £50 a month ($95.93 USD) $27 Canadian (£11) wouldn't even get you 256Kbps.

Jani Posted December 26, 2004 Posted December 26, 2004 laugh, i remember when they first came out with the 3Mbps. they dispatched a load of modems which couldnt even handle 3Mbps lol. yeh im with telewest, its 1024Kbps (128k/sec) download and 256Kbps (32k/sec) upload. really sucks doesnt it.
