I got a problem.

When i get into MTA and I get then menu of what careers u can pick, mexican robber cop ect. When i try to press enter on the career I want it wont let me, nothing even happens. I just want to know if enter is the right button to select a career. P.S Never played MTA before.

By default, Enter should work. It is assigned the same key as entering cars, so try that one if you have altered the settings.

^ If you tried that and that wasn't it, I had a problem similar to it.

I use a gamepad, and I have both enter and button 9 set to commandeer vehicles. One time, button 9 got stuck down (it causght on the edge around it), so my enter key wouldn't work either, odd thing was everytime I hit enter it made the confirmation sound, but wouldn't do anything.

So if you have two settings for enter vehicle, you might wanna see if either are stuck.

I had that problem the other day when I was playing MTA on my laptop. It has no numpad and so letter keys double as numpad keys when numlock is on. I had switched numlock on so that I could fly a helicopter with the numpad keys and then died. Enter wouldn't work at the spawn screen until I switched numlock off, which was strange as Enter only has one function on my laptop.
