0 MTA Team ccw Posted July 23, 2015 MTA Team Share Posted July 23, 2015 Please download, extract and run MTADiag and follow the instructions. Press 'n' when asked. Post any Pastebin URL MTADiag gives you. Link to comment
0 ThePietn1
I have the Lenovo Y50 notebook which has very similar specifications to your notebook and I can confirm this issue also occurs to me. I ran MTADiag as suggested and it suggested me to install a newer version, so I did that. Unfortunately that didn't make any difference for me, so I pressed 'n' afterwards. This is the Pastebin URL that got generated afterwards: http://pastebin.mtasa.com/120215232 My specifications: Intel Core i7-4710HQ 2.50-3.50GHz Nvidia GTX-860M 2GB 8GB RAM Windows 8.1 Link to comment
0 MTA Team ccw Posted July 25, 2015 MTA Team Share Posted July 25, 2015 Do you have the Lenovo Energy Management installed? http://support.lenovo.com/us/en/downloads/ds100275 Try selecting the 'High Performance' power plan before running MTA Link to comment
0 ThePietn1
I didn't have this program installed, so I installed it now. Changed the settings to high performance as you said, but still the issue persist. Thanks for your suggestion though, hopefully it can be fixed soon. ^^ Link to comment
0 MTA Team ccw Posted July 26, 2015 MTA Team Share Posted July 26, 2015 Connect to each of these benchmark servers so we can check the difference between 1.4 and 1.5 1.4 - mtasa://178.32.44.73:22003 1.5 - mtasa://178.32.44.73:22004 Link to comment
0 ThePietn1
Thanks a lot for the suggestion, running these tests has clarified the problem for me. It seems like MTA 1.5 doesn't recognize my Nvidia card and uses the Intel HD graphics instead, which is much slower obviously. Forcing MTA 1.5 to run with the Nvidia card (right click - open using powerful graphics processor) gives me the good FPS I used to have with the older MTA versions. Benchmark on MTA 1.4: http://pastebin.mtasa.com/310975428 Benchmark on MTA 1.5: http://pastebin.mtasa.com/219679758 Benchmakr on MTA 1.5, forced Nvidia GPU: http://pastebin.mtasa.com/511273877 Link to comment
