TempEcho
I dont know if this is spammy enough , but here it goes: -Stichting Brein: An illegal organisation supposed to protect the rights of the entertainment industry. In fact they threathen , intimidate , and harrass inocent (legal) P2P users with messages that are against the P2P program's TOU and are concidered spam. -The Dutch Goverment: Making no attempt at all to stop Stichting Brein , doing nothing for the developement of the ICT industry , wants to accept software patenets that make creating free software allmost impossible. Don't you like what the 2 corrupt organisations above do? Please check out the following site to help prove to them that ICT is important: FOR EDUCATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY: http://www.anti-piracy.nl/ FOR EDUCATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY. EDIT , replaced the link with a link to the Stichting Brein website so (if you can read Dutch) , you can read what crimes they have committed and what they think of themselves! MTA Team Blokker_1999 Posted October 6, 2004 MTA Team Share Posted October 6, 2004 I have removed the link. During the past 2 days the website of the dutch government is under attack and unreachable. This site is responsible for those illegal actions. Furthoremore a group of "hackers" has claimed that there 15 members alone are responsibel for those attacks (and not the ppl that use that site) The reason for the attack is not directly because of the anti piracy policy from the government but because the dutch government is cutting back on social security. The link/site has nothing to do with educational purposes. You have to select ur inet speed there and then it opens a new page full of frames that keep refreshing themselves. These frames are going to the website of the dutch government and BREIN. Link to comment

TempEcho
I only created the link I posted here because I hate stichting brein. Someone I know got a message from stichting Brein via Kaz** that he was uploading copyrighted audio files. THey asked for a 500€ fee. He wasnt that samrt and payed it. I have nothing to do witht he goverment sites being down. And the speed spelection is only because people with dialup can't load that many pages at once. Also , the page was only meant to give Brein some more visitors (automated or not). There is no law agains visiting a site , or isnt it? Also , Minister Zalm recently stopped the PC Privé project that was used to get people a pc for not THAT many bucks. And since they are cutting in budgets he canceled it. He sayd it was to give the industry a uptime ,well , the industry kindah died because they usualy had actions around PC Privé... Goverment sucks! Mr.Xanni Link to comment
MTA Team Blokker_1999 Posted October 6, 2004 MTA Team Share Posted October 6, 2004 Ur friend was smart with paying the money, it could have cost him a whole lot more. Visiting a site is not illegal, taking it down is. The site behind the link was designed for the latter. And the cancellatoin of PV Privé had nothing to do with this attempt. It went away. The abuse stopped And there is already a workaround for it. BTW, you know how much i invested in my IT equipment the past years? Link to comment
TempEcho
Yeah , he propably did the right thing , but 500 dollar for uploading a few Britney Spears songs or something. Isnt that a little much? Anyways , PC Privé was a good case , it realy gave the population of The Netherlands more knowledge and information via the PC. Its sad that it was canceled (REVENGE! sorry ). Mr.Xanni EDIT: The workaround , are you talking about the Bike Plan with a PC? And I spent over 2000 euro on PC's parts and a pc , and over 250 euro on computer games Im a good custommer Link to comment
