ixjf
Still using the same low-end PSU, need 2x4GB RAM instead of 1x8GB for dual channel, hard disk with 64MB cache would be nice, and you might as well go back to Intel's stock cooler because an aftermarket cooler is pointless if you're not going to overclock (and you can't with that CPU and chipset). Also make sure the graphics card is not the reference edition, they usually come with coolers not quite suitable for overclocking (even if you don't plan to, you will get lower temperatures with a non-reference edition). ..:D&G:..
There is no option to take 2x 4GB ram, only 1x 4GB, 1x 8GB and 2x 8GB. I got the stock cooler. Also, the graphics card does not support VGA, which will be a problem, as I will need to buy a new screen that has HDMI. I will ask if the graphics card is a non-reference edition. Thanks again for the advice Link to comment
ixjf
That is why I think you should buy the components from other stores. You can buy an HDMI-to-VGA adapter. Link to comment
..:D&G:..
Ok so, I am saving up to buy that PC and till now I have £400, half the amount I need. I was thinking of adding a cheap 1GB graphics card to my old dell inspiron that has at least shader model 3.0 so I can play some games till I save some money. Which graphics card has 1gb memory and shader model 3.0 and doesn't need a PCIe cable as the PSU it has its only 300W and I don't want to upgrade it. Thanks again for helping Link to comment
