Mortana Posted August 11, 2004 Posted August 11, 2004 Hi,I think i made me clear with the title ^^ I want to make a server,on my free webspace(about 100mb space and 300gb bw),I tried it alot,but i really dont know how,I once make a homeserver,but after a lot of players,it really gets slow,and i want to have a free 24h server,but when i turn the computer off,my server is shutted down too ^^,so the server where i want to run MTA,wont shut down,so it will be a 24h server ^^,else does any1 know where you can make a free 24h MTA server thx btw.
[->>CURLY<<-] Posted August 12, 2004 Posted August 12, 2004 well thewre was a topic like this b4 and the short anser is you cant the long anser is you can but its unlikly it will work because your host would have to open the program manuly which unless you no them is probly not going to happen + most host dont want to run a dedicated server for a game for free
orappa Posted August 12, 2004 Posted August 12, 2004 No-one in their right mind would offer a game server for free. It takes up loads of bandwidth and there's no real way of making money (unlike free webhosting, where you can display ads on the pages).
