Si|ent Posted August 7, 2004 Posted August 7, 2004 (edited) Since moving IP these have remained very quiet and empty most of the time. My ASE doesnt even find them tho I'm assured by some people that thier copy does. So here are the details for those with the same problem. MTAVC 0.4.1 12 Player DM: mta://67.19.87.237:2003 GTA3MTA 0.4.1 12 Player: mta://67.19.87.236:2003 - Echod to #echochan Admins are usually present ingame, echo channels and IRC. Any problems then visit #mta on irc.gamesurge.net (mta:// clickable links edited in by Ransom) Edited October 4, 2004 by Guest
Loendal Posted August 26, 2004 Posted August 26, 2004 On the subject of the Official Servers... Perhaps someone can explain why they seem empty all the time? I haven't taken a look through ASE to see exactly how many people are out there playing on other servers and all, but the Officials are always empty. They used to be the best place to play because they were usually very full, people would be stuck waiting in line to get into them and now it's like a ghost town. Can someone elighten me?
orappa Posted August 26, 2004 Posted August 26, 2004 Well, I don't play on them because there's never anyone else playing on them (presumably the reason why no-one else plays on them either), so it's a never-ending cycle.
Lips106 Posted August 26, 2004 Posted August 26, 2004 Well, the theory is, that if you go on it, people are sure to follow you in the end. You just need to be patient
orappa Posted August 27, 2004 Posted August 27, 2004 Yeah, but I usually avoid servers with 1 or 2 players in, preferring 7 or more.
