However, it wouldn't start, so I got out and got back in again, at which point it froze. I've heard other people complaining about this issue too. MTA:SA FAQ - Read this before asking questions. orappa Posted July 24, 2004 Author Posted July 24, 2004 I also tried to get into a car at a later date, pressed enter and got in the passenger seat (there was no-one else in the car), so maybe that's what happened before (I was entering the vehicle from the right, and the controls are on the left (damn American cars )), but this never happens in SP - he just moves across to the other seat. I don't remember left-clicking. I think I was right-clicking to activate the car scanner. MTA:SA FAQ - Read this before asking questions. trx Posted July 25, 2004 Posted July 25, 2004 Havent really tested it, but I think as long as the get-in-car animation hasnt finished, the seat your characted takes place in isnt decided. So entering as driver, then quickly press passenger enter key, you'd slide to passenger side without expecting it.

I then used the scroll wheel to change the radio station, so perhaps that had something to do with it. MTA:SA FAQ - Read this before asking questions. Dunno if my controls are set up the same or not, but in GTA3MTA my car/ammunation scanner is also my enter-car-as-a-passenger button. I noticed if you hit this as you enter a car as a driver, it'll read it as a last minute change and slide you into the passenger seat. Odd bug with it happening that way, once you get out, you won't be able to enter that car again until you quit the game, if you try your character will just walk against the side of the vehicle.
