=BDC=Empfys! Posted June 29, 2004 Posted June 29, 2004 Hello all. Well it's been a long time since I've posted in the MTA Forum so I thought I'd just bring up this issue. As you know, if you connect to a server, reach the score of around 50 or any great score, the client may say "connection timed out", due to various reasons. Now, a question that I would like to ask is not to do with how to stop timing out...because I know that it is not always your internet connection causing this, it can be the server's fault. So is there any way you guys or is it existent in any online games for the server to somehow store your current score on their server for a while incase you connect back into the game after you do get timed out. That might sound a little confusing or stupid, but I'm just really curious because here in Australia some of the servers aren't too great and can drop out on you at any random time. Oh and also, if you are going to just say "use search!" or something like that, I think it would be a waste of time because surely there wouldn't be any suggestions for the problem. Thanks Empfys
