Guest Posted June 3, 2004 Share Posted June 3, 2004 hi guys ill get richt to the point: i installed vice city to c:\games\vice city, installed mta to c:\program files\mta and edited the mta.ini like this: [Main] Nick=kroll IP=62.149.229.250 Port=2003 SavePass=false Password= VCGameVersion=1 GameVersion=0 [game-vc] location=C:\spiele\Vice City\gta-vc.exe [game-exe] location=C:\spiele\Vice City\gta-vc.exe [game-gta3] location= i then fird up the mtaclient but got the fatal error. i presses reset gamepath and restarted the client, but after pressing connect iwas only able to chosse the vice city path before getting the very same error. i also installed mta:vc 0.3 first and then 0.3r2 as in the readme described but nothing changed i also tried installing mta to my vice city game dir but it dint help and of course i copied the other language files to the mta directory, still not working what can i do? thanx!! Guest Posted June 3, 2004 Share Posted June 3, 2004 @vvolven: my mistake. i had the game installed to c:\spiele\vice city\ not c:\games\vice city\ (spiele is german for games ) anyways, it works now. i uninstalled and reinstalled vice city and mta 0.3 + 03r2 and it works now. its soo cool i havent had that much fun playing pc in a long time. Guest Posted June 3, 2004 Share Posted June 3, 2004 i was just so happy that i was finally able to play mta and its a hell lota fun, and its all only possible because some guys sat down and coded this little thing here, i just wanted to say thanks to those guys, thats all... ..but theres a german saying that would mean something like "you shouldnt praise the day before the evening" and i probably shouldnt have. it worked perfectly 15 minutes ago. i watched some tv now, wanted to play again. saome fatal error i dont know whats wrong Link to comment

It's still glitchy as it's still beta, so lag's a big factor (your screen shows you shooting someone, other person's screen shows you shooting two feet to their right.)
