Has an upper size limit for those things ever been considered, like 150KB biggest avatar and 450KB biggest sig? The way things are now, it would help some the ppl on dialup and speed things up for everyone else as well.

Basically, you need someone to upload the image you want to the web, then insert the image address into your profile, or find an image already on the web.
