Guest Posted February 8, 2004 Posted February 8, 2004 I've tried many things but my server just will not show up on ASE. I am running mtavc 3. the server is part of a lan. its a cable modem connected into a router. I unlocked port 2003 and 2002. the ip is 64.235.171.46. i do not let it on cause it doesnt show up so no one really plays on it anyway except when i turn it on. on my site i put the picture that shows server status. and the face shows green, i have the server configured to register with ase. can anyone help me so that i can finally have my server used?
Kent747 Posted February 9, 2004 Posted February 9, 2004 you have to forward teh ASE port (its your game port +123) so... 2126 if you are using the defaults. Kent
Guest Posted February 10, 2004 Posted February 10, 2004 thanks for the help it worked, but my ping shows up as 9999, i can't attract attention that way, do you know how to fix this?

orappa Posted February 10, 2004 Posted February 10, 2004 A ping of 9999 usually means that it timed out when ASE tried to query the server. Have you got a firewall running or something like that?
