My Server.

Hey,

Today I have made a server for me but I got a problem... I done everything but I couldn't connect to the server it says: "Connection timed out" but in MTA server says server started and ready to connect...

so please anybody help me to solve that problem or a tut how to make a server.

Did you open the ports required?

Write: "openports" on server console ( BLACK WINDOW ) to check if they are open.

You must open them on your modem/router page.

I got another problem i connected to the server but it does not download files just black screen and this one ofc;

You should start a game mode, "play" is the default one.

Thanks guys the problem was solved (ports opened and admin alright), I got another problem...

How to save my server(Files, scripts, etc) to stay online all the time?

because when I quit that MTA server black screen the server stop and shutdown.

so I need I solution for that please.

i dont know how hosters keep their servers 24/7 but probably because of this

they got servers at home and on them they put mta servers what people buy and keep it turned on 24/7 because that machine is made for that i guess so you have to buy server(not mta one) a machine server or you can buy mta server from another host but if u dont want to buy mta server then machine server cost much money

Well, you could pay a hosting service to keep your server up 24/7.

If you want to manage your own server and host it your self then you could buy a vps and upload it there and it would be online for 24/7.
