Guest Posted January 2, 2004 Posted January 2, 2004 Hi there. I have this problem with being unable to run a server using the VC: 0.3 Server Config Tool. Firstly. I cannot interact with the GameMode drop down menu on the Server Config Tool. It is inactive and greyed out. Secondly. When I launch my server, the command prompt box gives 2 errors. These are: ERROR: A GameMode MUST be specified in the configuration fil AND be 1 or 2 . ERROR: A ServerName, ServerPort, Game, GameMode and BannedFile MUST be specified in the configuration file. I don't understand it. I've always managed to run my own server in the past. Am I missing something here or is this a bug of some kind? Just thought I'd point out that I'm using 0.3 for everything (Client, Server, Server Config and Server Admin) and all exe files are in the same MTA Directory. Regards. Stewart.
Dgtadude Posted January 2, 2004 Posted January 2, 2004 Download the newer verion of the config tool . I heard there was a minor problem with some . Dont know for sure but it might help .
