Chewd Posted December 10, 2003 Share Posted December 10, 2003 hi everyone, I've been doing some building mods in Maya with the .3ds import plugin and was curious if anyone knew what the polygon limit for VC was as a whole... and for each of the loading sections? I want to make lots of new structures but don't want to bog the system down. Any and all advice would be appreciated. Link to comment
petebog Posted December 16, 2003 Share Posted December 16, 2003 The only limit I'm aware of is that for .col files. Nobody seems to know the exact value (somewhere between 1000 and 2000), to stay on the safe side it's best to take 1000 polys as a maximum. Link to comment

If you register, you can run searches in any area to find information about anything related to GTA modding. You can also see what other techniques are being used by downloading models from there.
