my server

Hello there i'v been playing mta for 2 years and i still cant figure out how to open ports.

when i start mtaserver.exe and write openports it says

Port 22126 UDP is closed. Players can not browse!

Port 22003 UDP is closed. Players can not join!

Port 22005 TCP is closed. Players can not download!

and i followed the steps at https://wiki.multitheftauto.com/wiki/Server_Manual

i searched for my router in http://portforward.com/english/routers/ ... efault.htm

and i couldnt find it.

can u help me please? my router is D-link DSL-26504

Oh yeah but all dlink product configs look alike

Even their web security cameras look exactly like router configs

Just use a different guide for a dlink router, for instance DSL-2680, most of the things to click on will match up

(In general, just choose a router model that's close to yours. Why would manufacturers make an entirely different GUI for each model?)

fuck this i opened ports at my friends router and i cant fucking open it at mine !!!!!!!!!!!!

maybe your friend can open yours

nah but for real there are guys on here that will open your ports by team viewer or whatever

maybe they'll reply at some point or maybe PM dzek, who's a GM on here and has something about this stuff in his signature

Hello,if you wanna port forwarding I recommend you to follow the next tutorial;

Once you've done that and you started your "MTA" File,type "openports" all the ports should be opened.

Sometimes you also need to restart your router before the ports actually open
