Mailing list validation problem

I tried to register for the mailing list yet it sees my email address as invalid

The format of my email address is "[email protected]"

The dot in the first part of the address screws it up i believe.

However it is a valid email address

[|Y|aNi}{]

I think the only thing you can do is to create another email address without any dot and use it only for the mta's mailinglist...
