Scooby
Hi, do any of u out there know how object/element rotations have changed since back in mta:race ? i have hundreds of race maps and wrote a script to convert a couple of them to the new format in DM, however it seems all the object rotations are all messed up. I guess something has changed over the years. this is an example of 1 object in the old format: <object name="object (264)"> <position>1920.987305 -4686.229004 29.226713</position> <rotation>1.373097 0.000000 0.000000</rotation> <model>18310</model> </object> i think the rotations arent 0 to 359 (maybe some other format?) does anyone know whats changed and/or if they can be converted to work in mta today. Faw[Ful]
You can compare the rot in a old race map and a modern map. The rot axis order is maybe different also. example of rot axis order : rotx, roty, rotz order can be changed like that : roty, rotx, rotz Link to comment
MTA Team jhxp Posted August 16, 2012 MTA Team Share Posted August 16, 2012 We already have a converter for race maps. You can find it here: http://files.mtasa.com/apps/1.0/ Link to comment
