Guest Posted October 7, 2003 Posted October 7, 2003 what do i have to do to sop this from randomly occuring when i'm playing vc.
me Posted October 7, 2003 Posted October 7, 2003 Nothing really. The bug appears to occur both while in VC, single player, and MTA:VC. It simply occurs more often in MTA:VC.
Guest Posted October 7, 2003 Posted October 7, 2003 i saw someone with 70 kills. how would they be immune to this unexpected bug.
[PiG] Ponch Posted October 7, 2003 Posted October 7, 2003 (edited) I have no problems staying connected with the server when the game crashes... all you gotta do is end task gta-vc.exe in task manager before old Dr. Watson (drwatson.exe) creates it's super huge log files. If you cannot close gta-vc.exe then close drwatson.exe. the GTA VC rendering engine will close and you should still have MTAVC running and still connected. Just click start game and you're on your way again WITH you score intact http://www.nickwhite.org/PiG.htm Edited October 7, 2003 by Guest
me Posted October 7, 2003 Posted October 7, 2003 It happens more often to different people... It's very odd. Some people can go for a few hours, others can go for a few minutes. BTW: Just because his GTA:VC crashed doesn't mean his score was reset... He could've crashed about 20 times in an hour, but his score wouldn't be reset.
SM xenex Posted October 7, 2003 Posted October 7, 2003 When you crash its GTA thnat crashes not the MTA, and the MTA client is what keeps your score. And its pretty easy to get 70 kills, just play for 1 hour to 2 hours and you must have 70 kills by then.
