e-Hate Posted January 11, 2012 Posted January 11, 2012 Hey Everyone! So in the alternative to using the ramp in my newest race map.. I've decided I'll make it so the player is driving and then hits a corona, and jumps into the air, and then lands... So I have a question.. where can I get the most recent version of Puma Markers? I've tried googling this sh!t already and came up with nothing... Also, do you think I should use something other than Puma? I'm using version 1.5 which I got from someone elses map.. and when I enter the corona it outputs "0 0 255" into the chatbox... which I don't want.. D: Help? -eHate

e-Hate Posted January 11, 2012 Author Posted January 11, 2012 Thanks, I've got puma, the most updated version... only problem is... when you drive through the puma marker, it outputs in chat certain numbers on each of 3 lines. I've gathered that it's the RGB color of the corona. so if u drive through a corona... and it's puma script lifts u up.. then in chat it would say" "Now starting map.... [DM]eHate - Vol 3- Blha blah blah 0 0 128"
Faw[Ful] Posted January 11, 2012 Posted January 11, 2012 You cant really change this, maybe you can uncompile the puma marker, because I'm 99% sure they are compiled. If you have luck you can edit those lines, but uncompiled scripts are bad... Better to script the scripted jumps by yourself, the good news ; this is an easy script to do.
e-Hate Posted January 12, 2012 Author Posted January 12, 2012 lol, would you mind helping me out then? Because I'm a super noob at lua scripting. I have a basic idea of how a function works etc... but no idea how to make my own scripts for jumps etc
Wojak Posted January 13, 2012 Posted January 13, 2012 You may also use teleporteditor... viewtopic.php?f=108&t=32529 Just place the destination above the marker, rotate it in the direction the vehicle should be lunched and fill the fixed_speed property (it will be the starting speed in km/h), the physics will do the rest Check the exemplar map for cannon.
