12p
The graphics doesn't make a game better. It makes it better-looking only. Example for this is Conker Live and Retextured (XBOX 360) and Conker's Bad Fur Day (Nintendo 64). Check this video and compare (3:29) (Note: the following video may contain bad words. It's not my fault that children play MTA, anyway, as GTA is M rated) If you notice details, you will know that N64 version is better. Edited December 12, 2011 by Guest Link to comment
Faw[Ful]
Yep , but gta V will have a more detailed map ! Is less empty and explorations will be better, but I can not say too much, it's just a trailer. Link to comment
diegofkda
I prefer GTA V for have fun some times, but I prefer GTA:SA becuse of the MTA:SA, because there I can work and practically, make my own GTA. Link to comment
zerb
Whoever made that video must have had a lot of time! I’m still a Vice City guy through and through – I’ve always wondered what would have happened if San Andreas was released first and Vice City had all those features that were in San Andreas. Either way, it’s going to be a smashing game. It would be quality if we could create our own character though. Link to comment
ChaseOquinn
GTA V is going to be a great game. I expect to see them go back to Vice City in GTA VI though. Link to comment
diegofkda
I didn't like Vice City. But anyway, why would they get back of some older cities if it's even easier to make a new city without applying old names? . Link to comment
ChaseOquinn
It's definitely not easier to make a new city, because they have to send a team to that new location to gather information about it then they have to bring back the information gathered and the modeling team will have to model the new buildings and landscape, after that they have to create textures for the new models. By recreating old cities they already have some information of the location. So they will have more time to add new features and fix bugs. Link to comment

Compare GTA 3 Liberty City with GTA IV Liberty City, they were pretty different and their names could be different, what they got is a bit like the same ambient, but GTA IV's one was even more worked. Faw[Ful]
I'm not sure if they will make the entire sa map. : | Link to comment
CapY
Ofcourse they will not. But you can hope, they will build whole LA(Los Santos) Link to comment
diegofkda
Remember, R* said they've made a city even bigger than the whole San Andreas, and that it will be in Los Angeles with some more cities, country and desert. Link to comment
zerb
I never got the hype with Los Santos. I thought the city was quite poor. Las Venturas was the highlight for me. Though I admit, once you returned to Los Santos to kill Smoke, it does seem like you did bring CJ a long way in life. Link to comment
DizAster
Well, the city look cool, but the graphics are the same as in GTA IV. Probably because there is no more advanced engine then RAGE, lol. But I seriously would prefer Vice City rather than Los Santos. Link to comment
CapY
It's not the same, if you take a look here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uVPwt90W86Q You would see GTA V graphics is more improved. Link to comment
DizAster
Well, it does look a little better, but is probably due to the fact that GTA IV it self doesn't show too much colors. And the guy playing GTA IV didn't played in full graphics (probably). Also, note that trailers use to be better then the game it self, so don't judge GTA V by the trailer. Link to comment
diegofkda
In GTA series no. Rockstar have been always using the game for record the trailers - see in GTA IV and San Andreas. Link to comment
