You won't get root access to the physical server. You can however upload files to the directory of your server, but due to security reasons (people buying a 2 slot server and then upload a program which deletes all server files) you can't upload .so files. Also, most of the time there aren't any nightly builds released for the Linux platform, which we use to host. As soon as an update comes to linux.multitheftauto.com we will upload it as soon as possible and give our clients the choice to update on their own.

You can upload modules. A modified server is not allowed. We are monitoring our servers constantly. If we detect any strange programs running, we will stop you server. This is to prevent people buying 2 slots servers and then hack our server with it.

Our system queries the server constantly. If the user also changes the query mechanism, which isn't possible, since he can't update the core files. But even if he manages to do that, we also have human people monitoring the server. And he can't use it, because the MTA browser also detects this query and tell the client that the server is full, even if it isn't and the amount of slots is changed.

and i must say this hosting is good i live in norway and had 45 ping while downlaoding a movie ;O

backup feature is great, update feature too its really easy to update your server and i could even downgrade it to 1.2 tried uplaoding a song on 7.5 mb to the server and it took me around 8 seconds to download it so Really great and cheap hosting

i will buy my own server here soon....

We have replied to your message about 2/3 days ago. Please read our messages first. You aren't very clear about some problems. What do you mean by turned off? Does the control panel say it has a query failure? but isn't problem with the Resources because i stop all resources, and i going to sleep, and in the morning the server its with the problem, i update it to 1.3-3756 the last month, anything more i can test?

I take the FTP Data and i open the server from my PC, i check it this mornng, 10 players enter, no problems, all good, i think the problem is the Hosting , My PC create lag in the server....

Something important, the server have the problem just when its empty....

Well i had a problem like this thatmy server didnt want to start but i just went to mtaserver.conf and set serverport to the right one and a random http port

Well it might depend on where you live and how good your internet connection is i played on a server with my old shitty network had about 100 200 ping now with my new network i got 45 ping

Gameservers4you is okay overall, but their servers are hella laggy, and so it their panel.

Files also have a tendence to get corrupted, which is weird, and annoying.

Thus, I'm not happy with their services as my mapping server kept being corrupted(specifically my maps), and it caused me a lot of hassle.

Huge minus for your control panel, it takes ages to load.

Please look in the serverlog, there should be a problem there. Or try downgrading to the first 1.3.0 build. It might be a bug in the newest MTA server.
