MTA 1.1 Startup error

When i try to start i get this message:

Multi Theft Auto has not been installed properly, please reinstall. [Registry Key not present].

I've reinstalled mta several times, and i am still getting this.

Can anyone help me?

Have you tried running the installer as an Administrator? Uninstall MTA completely then try.

i know a few people with the same problem, did you manage to solve this? if so, it would be nice to know what u did to fix it so i can inform them.

Right click the installer -> Run as administrator.
