Guest Posted September 17, 2003 Posted September 17, 2003 Hi, Just a few minutes ago I played MTA, and wanted to steel a car, and something strange happend: my person wents in but stays at the passenger seet. The Driver Drives South to the Heli, he gets out and I can do, too. Was that a bug or a future. (Sorry that i have no Replay of that, but when i went in i didn't knew, and the driver got out of the car to fast to look for)

monkeydude35 Posted September 19, 2003 Posted September 19, 2003 the bug has to do with you being invisble thats when it works best but once in awhlie you can get it to work when your not invisble. (incase you dont know you are nortmally invisible when there are 2 of the same charachters normally it happens with the swat.
Si|ent Posted September 19, 2003 Posted September 19, 2003 hmm, actually monkeydude it has nothing to do with having 2 people with the same skin, please do not give out misleading information. being 'invisible' is caused by trying to play the mod with windows 98, as you are not really 'there' to anyone because it recieves the data but doesnt send any to the server, essentially you are a spectator. You are always ths swat skin simply because you do not send the packet that determines your skin, so it defaults to player id 0, which happens to be swat guy.
