Sharingan Posted July 24, 2011 Posted July 24, 2011 Hello, I'm doing a real drop weapon system. I wonder if there's a function to get the position of the weapon in the map. Ingame Nick: CrowClaws
Castillo Posted July 24, 2011 Posted July 24, 2011 What........? get position of what? a weapon is not a object or so, you can create pickups of them anyway. San Andreas Utopia RPG (SAUR) Owner & Developer. Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world.
Sharingan Posted July 24, 2011 Author Posted July 24, 2011 OK, Maybe I can do it with getting the muzzle flash position and bones. Sorry if I'm annoying. Ingame Nick: CrowClaws
Jaysds1 Posted July 24, 2011 Posted July 24, 2011 Ur not annoying, your just new to this... SolidSnake is either having a bad day or just confused or maybe tired... I'll tell you something... The stuff the player carries are pickups(examples: weapons, health, etc.), the stuff you see like boxes or fences are objects in the game... SolidSnake should be sorry... Right? Castillo Posted July 24, 2011 Posted July 24, 2011 Sorry? what for? what he's asking (if i'm right) is to get the weapon from player's HAND, not a pickup or a object. Think twice before post. Maurize Posted July 24, 2011 Posted July 24, 2011 U have to bind a key for example "B". And add function with: removePedWeapon createPickup -- to let it look like a dropped weapon getGroundPosition or something to get the distance ( u have to know where the ground is to create the object correctly ) OR u use this resource from community
