megaman54 Posted June 20, 2011 Posted June 20, 2011 Is it possible to run the server as a background process or something? I mean that it could go away from my task-bar but will remain in the taskmanager.
Arran Posted June 20, 2011 Posted June 20, 2011 Try running it as a service, I'm interested to know if you can but there is a source patch here: http://bugs.mtasa.com/view.php?id=5550 Which is to add support for running as a service so I'm guessing you can not currently run it as a service.
Blueman Posted June 26, 2011 Posted June 26, 2011 Go to command prompt type cd your mta server folder here and then type mtaserver.exe or whatever your server executable is with -svc at the with end a space between .exe and svc.
